Power is not everything. If you want power get a fire blade. Forza has plenty enough power. We tour two up on ours, loaded, no issues. Easily does 70mph and hey, who wants to go quicker than that anyway? If you do, the default is, again, a fire blade. Horses for courses. We got Honda, because we want it to work.

Very interesting - how long have you had the Forza and are there any niggles so far - what about servicing costs?
Am looking at one of these as my next two wheeler ( along with the CB500X and NC750) - I like the appeal of the storage space and how low it is - I hired a Suzuki 125cc scooter in Portugal for four days and with the wife on the back we covered 400 miles - had a great time and you can easily see how these things sell so well in Europe - I've been riding beemers for 20 yrs (1200 RT, 2 x 1100RT, an 1150 GS and my last one which was an 1100R - the wife would deffo be happier with me riding a scooter and I did have a Silverwing for a few months but it just didn't grab me - this one though - I like the look, the mpg, the ease of use, electric screen - have spoken to a chap who had ridden his up the mway from London to Scotland without any problems, easily keeping up with the traffic - the only gripe he had was that he felt the suspension was a bit harsh, but that was only on badly maintained roads.
      Thanks

      Steve, you'll love it mate.
Bear in mind, it is what it is and you won't be disappointed. 25 odd bhp is plenty. I'm past racing around anyway, and the forza will do 90 ish mph if pushed on a long enough road, not that I have!
Yes, the only gripe is suspension, but all scooters suffer from this, by the nature of their design. We've set ours to softest setting and has smoothed the ride a little, no where near R1250 GS levels, but acceptable and only ever gets numbing on stupidly bad roads.
Take one out for a test ride and see how you get on. I just love the simplicity of it these days.
Let me know how you get on if you do get one. Word of warning: Don't get mis sold a honda service plan on any new bike, unless you are a serious high mileage user, it is a rip off for annual mileage of less than around 6 to 7k. Barter your first service in with new bike and you'll be sorted. If you don't mind being on a scooter (have got over the usual biker small genital syndrome of having to be seen on a "proper bike") go for it. Having said that, the forza has serious road presence as standard and even more loaded up, like ours. Good luck chap.

Great advice - can I ask what service costs are like and how many miles you get from your tyres?
Not bothered about the scooter vs bike thing - for me it's the journey - bearing in mind I rode a Honda C90 when all my mates were on FSIE's and SS50's - didn't bother me one bit - I rode that thing to the coast, into London ( was living in Aldershot at the time).

Hi Steve. Nice vid mate. Winter rides are as good as summer rides, and in some respects better I think.
First service on mine was £125 at local Honda. Second at 3.5k miles was about the same. 8k service mileage intervals. No new oil filter on second service! Services are money rackets, but a must to maintain warranty. Personally, and from experience, barter in your first service, or knock it off the cost of bike. DO NOT get fleeced with service plan. Tyre life is pretty good, 4.2 k miles and rear at 50% wear, front 45%wear. I am a steady grandad type rider though, so the excellent pirrelli diablos will burn quicker if you're heavy wristed! Tyre grip is excellent, wet or dry. I always have traction control on, for added safety, especially as so much diesel/grime on roads these days. Hope that helps matey. Any other bits you need to know, drop a line!
Had since June 2019. Only niggles are it's built in Italy, not Japan. If you're happy with Italian build....fine, but nothing is up to Jap quality, bar pre 90's german made stuff. It's still not bad though!

i tested ride the xmax 300 and forza 300 until 100-120 kph have little diferents about the power , 120+kph xmax 300 looks the power . xmax didnt like the brakes and the abs , at the corners forza for me its little more massiveness . Forza has a bad front susspension and and the xmax rear susspension from the category. Forza has a little bit more quality . The bike can travel at the same speed but with more acceleration the xmax and more comfortable seat position

The Honda is more refined than the similar Yamaha XMax, but it's heavier, plus its oversquare engine can't be expected to produce as much torque as the Yamaha's longer stroke engine. I think you'll find the XMax has the "power" (torque) the Forza lacks.

Hi, this goes together with the Garmin Virb Ultra 30 camera. Much better info than from the GoPros. Unfortunately the camera did not have image stabilization at 4k so I don't use it anymore.

Try giving it the beans sometime, because it provides good enough torque for a 300. If you expected a rocketship, you should opt for the Kawa H2. That would have you flopping from the bars.
