A wooden surround for your faucet: a simple and elegant project Project 2 # Part 1

Materials:
hole saw
A drill
A file
Wood glue
Scrap pallet wood
Steps
Measure the height and width of your eccentric.
Cut the piece of wood to the desired size.
Drill two holes in the wood, one on each side, to pass them through
File the edges of the wood to round them.
Apply wood glue to the edges of the wood, or silicone
Glue the wooden surround around the faucet.
Let the glue dry completely.
Advice:
the wood has been treated with walnut oil.
you want a thicker wood surround.
For a touch of fantasy, you can decorate your wooden surround with paint, lacquer or patterns.
Here are some decorating ideas for your wooden surround:
Paint it the same color as your walls or furniture.
