Steps :
Preparing the wood: Start by cutting the pieces of your ramp to the desired dimensions. I use a Topcraft table saw.
Then carefully sand the wood to obtain a smooth surface.
Assembling the structure: Attach the railing support posts to the stair treads using screws.
We used a piece of martyr wood to have the same height everywhere. I ensure that our structure is stable and plumb.
Installing the handrail: Cut the handrail to the desired length. Use an electric or hand plane to round off the corners and give it a nice shape. Attach the handrail.
Finishes: We applied three coats of linseed oil to the ramp to protect it and give it the desired appearance.
Allow to dry completely before using.
Advice :
Don't hesitate to personalize your banister by adding patterns, scrolls or other decorative wooden elements.
You can also use other types of wood to make your banister, depending on your preferences and the desired effect.
Be sure to comply with current safety standards when constructing your stair railing.

@@PapyBricool Salut André, j'y réfléchi et ce n'est pas évident de se lancer dans l'aventure car cela demande pas mal de temps et pour le moment je cours dans tous les sens ... Avoir dans un ans ou deux, alors je ferais bien quelque chose sur le train miniature en T Gauge (échelle 1/450) . Je réfléchi. Bonne soirée.
