Nah we don't. We're looking Voss likes to play 2 loose medium sized players hence young never gets opportunities. So McGovern plays the key role rotating with cowan kemp etc so long term it makes sense as we're a 1 natural tall side we have an cowan type to teach that role as that's what we lack under Voss a reliable interceptor
AVG 19.3 GAMES per year, and played 9 VFL full games this year to go with 8 games of AFL, aside from the early season injuries the guy has been nothing but durable for a decade, lets not start misinformation, no others enjoy just turning the camera and mic on, over here we pride ourselves on fact leads the conversation
Seeing that’s he’s actually 33 next year which is when he will be playing for us, and he managed 8 games this season it probably doesn’t look great if I’m honest, but if you could squeeze two seasons out of him and he can actually play a role while providing mentorship from a successful team, I guess it could work…could being the operative term. On the flip side, if he does a Sam Durdin and we can’t get him on the park there’s gonna be some people with serious egg on their faces for getting him in, considering our recent history with players from other clubs. We can only wait and see I guess.
Played 17 games played in vfl as they went with a different backline, his injuries way overplayed imo avg 20 games for a decade no player on our list bar cripps has got even close to his durability and certainly 0 have that experience. I'm glad we're trying to get old to be honest. Durdin made no sense as he was a failed top 20 pick, at least haynes types have been top level for a decade that's the iq I crave at the club! Time will tell though mate if its a good move but I am excited how it effects Wilson etc to have proper medium sized players so he can showcase his run and carry

Most definitely need player who can help weiters manage backline And teach and lead younger players..this has been well needed for some time now.and imo about time

Yeah might help propel our young backs, still got talent but years of smarts something we lack.
