So they had their time. We're here now. It's the way of nature, all throughout Earth history, and will be forever: new species come in, older ones die out, the ecosphere adapts. Yawn.
Normally id say hunting season is open, but golf courses waste a TON of water and require way too much maintenance, so im with the javelinas on this one
Seriously! Unlike my 90 yr old mother-in-laws sprinkler system & en I went to battle w/a big oldtire yard. Went to battle w/a big sow who was not backing down. The darn thing charged at me, so all I could do was charge back at her yelling & banging 2 metal trash lids together. It was quite the experience~ & several thousand dollars of damage to repair. A week later, the same sow was back. They are not easily deterred, & it doesn't help that others in this retirement community feel the need to feed the javelinas & the coyotes, which creates havoc & death of pets for others in the area. They are wild animals, not stray cats! It's a real problem in Sun City AZ.
All I can say after watching some nature shows, and being introduced to Javelinas by the Wild Kratt brothers of all shows; once you start to instigate ecology, or learn the ecosystem you live in, the ecology will soon play out very much. Understand the local food web, and it can explain why certain local wildlife adapts to human environments. I have already been counting North American animals that are winning the adaptation wars for human habitation after seeing an opossum in my neighborhood, and one of my neighbors telling me that it is a mother raising her babies in one of the trees.
Seems like they should have expected this sort of thing putting a golf course in the middle of a national forest with a habitat that supports such animals but what do I know?
Having lived in the Arizona Sonora Desert for many years, the only golf course that makes any sense is minimal greens using re-cycled water separated by natural desert. More ecologically sound and a better test of one’s golfing skills. If you poor water into the desert, of course the desert wildlife will be drawn to it. Moisture laden roots and grubs underground is like offering a free banquet. New Age Vortex Sedona should know better.
They're looking for grub. We had this problem with crows tearing up our lawn. Even a racoon showed up one. We put down one application of grub-ex in June and problem went away for years.
Good for the Javelinas. If Javelinas are good for the desert and not golf courses, then maybe golf courses are not good for the desert.
No sympathy for golf courses in AZ.
Javelina were there first. 100s of years they roamed that land.

I support the Javelina
They're invasive and hurt the ecology juat as much as humans
@@lilphilosophy481that’s feral hogs not javelinas
@@mlgodzilla4206 they fall under the same category
@lilphilosophy481 No they don't, peccarys are native to the southwestern United States.
@@lilphilosophy481 They aren't even in the same biological family lol. They're two completely different animals, separated by millions of years.
The javelina were here first leave them alone it's their land. They were here long before us humans were.
Critical support for the javelinas.
Lol 😂 I’m sure the golf course will recover. With the funds they make we don’t feel sorry for them. You’ll live!

Now lets bring them to Phoenix!
Irrigating AZ one golf course at a time.
Javelinas. Thank you!
200 acres dear Christ we’re having a housing crisis and here’s 200 acres for a playground 😒😒 we’re not gonna make it acting this dim.
We're already not making it. We are a plague.
It's not a housing crisis it's an illegal immigration crisis.
Good! That golf course should t be there

Wow 😂 super cool 😎 play through ❣️Javelina gotta do what Javelina does 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
LMAO!
Couldn't have happened to a better part of the valley!

😂😂😂😂 prestigious?
I feel bad for the Javelinas, eating all of that heavily chemical-laden grass.
Good. Go javelinas!
Good
Lol here’s the world’s smallest 🎻
Boy that’s some tough ruff
I mean, they stuck a golf course smack dab in the middle of wild piggy territory. Not really sure what they expected to happen.

The crows have a problem with you tearng up their home. Get your priorities in line.
@@bellestarr6484👈 A homeless drug addict telling someone to get their priority straight LOL

I think you mean "sanctuary.", but I love the sentiment.
It’s fall tho?
Now I know how farmers and ranchers feel

HAHAHA!!!!!!!

Maybe you can also sell hunting ticket.
Take the javilina barbeque sauces off the ban list.
😂mean animals they attack
Humans are far meaner. We attack everything.
Sounds like it's time for some key lobbying, regulated licensing of tags/limits, then the BBQs and smoking parties.
You need dogs! 🤨
