This match was crazy!!!! 😅 love the new Swiss format for worlds where we can finally compete and have closer matches! 🎉
Yeah this new format feels WAY better. We get to see a lot more potential diversity in the match-ups too.

43:00 "it's a circle" that joke caught me off guard, lmao
it wouldve been easier if palafox didnt choke rumble ult so much
he also kept alistar ulting way too early...it's like his micro on sylas Q W E is fantastic but his R usage is abysmal
Dhokla was useless too
Expectations were low but holy. Isn’t it 1-8 for MAD against international teams in the past year or 2?
1-7 vs NA
If there is no difference between a team losing by getting stomped vs losing in a hard fought, close game then those upset fans are the problem.
C9 got bounced off the pavement by T1. That's a loss that feels bad.
NRG had to get creative and sneak in a backdoor to the nexus to beat MAD because it was that close. That's a loss that calls for 'gg' not anger.
Seeing a lot of flame for Mad Lions here.
They're performing reasonably for their seed, and NRG is very able to shotcall play a trollier game at a clumsy but relentless pace when enabled.
If the problem is that #3 EU should just beat #1 NA, then maybe that was MAD's attitude, which didn't disuade them from playing into NRG's pace.
If that's not the problem, I'm confused as to where people are getting their expectations from.
Both regions were pretty fraught this year. I could see Excel or even Heretics putting up a decent fight too, but I don't think EU has a definitively better seed to send. Maybe MAD's problems is that they somehow raise expectations for themselves inordinately.
But... they also lower them?
Alright.
Every time we loose against na, I just feel devastated, Loosing to that pissregion is just a desaster
@@darthskixx2263 Sounds like EU is the real pissregion in that case, lmao. Cope harder, eurotrash.
I just hope we get to see G2 playing one Na team so you will see whats going on here.
G2 was smurfing all saison long and no Eu team is near to there Lv.
So ppl are just dissapinted that G2 ist ones more the only Eu team representing the Region how its suposed to be
@@a.r.9485 For sure. I wish the other EU teams were stepping up, but G2 staying as many steps above as they did, having that discipline, was really impressive! They were improving without as much competition. Very cool to see. Cloud 9 did the opposite, and so they lost NA's first seed.
I watch LEC primarily (basically every game) and LCS around playoffs, but I keep up with crazy things there like the Flyquest falloff.
G2 stands above, which is why I'm confused as to why the expectations for Mad are so high when they aren't even high domestically outside of upset factor. They don't even have scrim-hype, and even Hylli doesn't seem like he has the same world-class spark these days. Team still lacks a hard carry, even though Carrzy has absolutely stepped into the "if the other team doesn't have a harder carry, I'll do enough" role, that he had playing mostly MF back in his debut year.
I'm very glad we get to see G2 NRG coming up. I'd love to see them both in quarters, and G2 are definitely the favorites, but if any NA team has a chance in hell it's NRG (through... probably Dhokla and Palafox overperforming enough to support a pop-off series by Contractz at his best -- Yike is doing amazing for a rookie, but I feel like he still doesn't completely match the pace when it gets crazy, and NRG is the team with that high gear in NA). So I like the match up.
oh boy that comment has not aged well@@a.r.9485
Holy shit MAD fought their hearts out and Nisqy just put 150% into his game.
Rumble’s Ult is Red
Sylas Chains are Blue
MAD choked in the end
NA > EU
draft 6:30
game start 14:42
lol the Maokai solo kill, never thought I'd see that.
The winner of this game. "We loose, we didn't throw harder than our opponent."
Dhokla: "Wtf is armor pen? Never heard of it"
38:35 - I think Jatt has been watching a lot of Play On Tabletop...
Some people can't wrap their heads around the fact that League of Legends is a binary game of one winning team and one losing team every time and it shows.
Grow up, LEC fans. Just upset they lost to an NA team and completely ignoring the fact that they fought like the lions in their name straight to the end.
i dont get all this hate, MAD played genuinely good, at least up till the 20ish minute mark they were putting up a good fight
EU losing to NA is always embarrassing. It's like losing to your autistic younger brother.
It’s because of the history. Got kicked out of Worlds in 2022 by an NA team.
Pause: 33:06 - 34:51
No reason given. Resumed without issue.
Classic trade Elder for NEXUS !!!!
Holy shit both teams were bad
Jetlag (COPIUM)
NA vs EU, as expected
Can EMEA make a petition to never send MAD to international tournaments ever again? It doesn't matter if they win 3 splits in a row, just replace them with another team... this is getting ridiculous.
Its hard to come up with a good reason to not hate MAD.
I can get it behind LEC fans on hating MAD. Especially when your performance is boosting NA and team killing lol
Palafox whiffed every Rumble ult, Taliyah ulted into 3 players, and still won. MAD is so generous for letting NA stomp them time after time
NA is mad lions daddy
Don't laugh too hard at bad lions guys, they played against the #1 seed from lcs and we all know how competitive that region is
Bad lions cry more
😂
Don't laugh to hard at EU, they played our #1 seed with theirs and lost 0-2
Nounter Rogic Gaming does it again
19:10 psycopath roam? lol
as an NA, we cant say na?eu untill we beat g2
@@samwisehuluberlu2210 yeah g2 is for korean guys. they are gonna eat g2 deliciously
@@aaa-mv9te like D+? Yeah, we saw that.
@@samwisehuluberlu2210This comment aged like milk
35:16 is kai'sa getting stunned by taliyah's e or what?
Alistar stun I guess? But doesnt look like Ali was in range I dunno
@@blinkxo2022 alistar s e does not increase range for that empowered basic. Seems to be a false visual hitbox or smth.
I think the alistar flash auto her. I see the flash animation but it doesnt look like anyone actually flashed. Probably spectator bugs
Checked the cooldowns thats definitely what happened
@@bidoofftwyeah, ali used flash at that exact moment
So low for Pali...
NA Jayce. When will NA learn.
Spoiler shield! 😮
58:10 what competitive? I've done the same in silver rank duo que

outdrafted af, like who picks nilah into jayce, maokai, you have to be trolling. NRG played so bad that Mad lions couldve won even being outdrafted.
Wow this hurt to watch... To think that either of these clown teams got to reach the qualification possibility whike you have dk and bds fighting at 0-2... Swiss format is a total blunder
Your so delusional
Mans snuck in BDS 💀 NRG would flatten them
