Montenegro looks great. Oh the bueaties of Travel. Ups and downs but then you go for a really nice walk and it makes your day.I always say when things are getting on top of us, let's go for a nice walk, and you never know where it leads you too. 19:15 Rakija is distilled from fruits, mostly plums, quince, grapes, apples, apricot and even from walnuts ( highly recommended ). Store bought ones are 40% alcohol but home made rajika can be stronger (typically 50%). Enjoy.

What a Joy to find your channel! we have just binge watched Slovenia up to this one. I took a career break to travel Europe and Paul is reired ( we have been married 34 years), we set off on 12th Feb but Europe shut its doors and so we had a mad dash back from Portugal to the UK in 4 days ( 26th March) cutting our trip well short. Our van EsmeVan ( which is our self build Fiat Ducato Ambulance conversion) is now in Lockdown but the journey you are doing is the journey we want to do next, so watching you is keeping us sane ( and I am making notes). Great VLOG or should I say 'Top Banana' The views on the Hike were 'Spotty Dog' and the hike route up tip was great. Hi guys my door does the same thing. You just need to push the bottom in with ur thigh. Then lock it and up lock it and it'll work. It happens when the side doors isn't on a even road and it needs pushing back in place. X

Just discovering this one. I've been watching your more recent vlogs in Turkey. We went to Montenegro 11 years ago. We spent a week in a rental in Herzig Novi. We toured the Bay of Kotor by boat, and got to visit that beautiful little church. We drive around -- visited Kotor, a monastery up in the mountains, and more. Your vlog is a wonderful memory wake-up.

Ok, so a little piece of info: The hotels and accommodations MUST register you. If they don't it is their problem, not yours. Second, you can register yourself by going to A REGISTRATION OFFICE. There are several of them along the main roads. You need a passport and the address where you are staying. Third, the hotels do the registration online and that is why they need your passport. It costs euro per day I believe, The same thing goes with Greece as well, actually. Fourth, I am pretty sure you can camp in Montenegro, BUT YOU CAN NOT LIGHT A CAMPFIRE. That is strictly forbidden.
Just a thought with your door lock is there any evidence of marks at the bottom of the handle as they can just slide a screwdriver in and open the lock and enter the van at night for valuables it's very common . Take care and safe travels .
Hi David - no, no marks - we lock all the doors when we are inside (we have an extra locking system from the inside so the doors can't be opened - even if the central locking system is overridden ....) Hi Bill - Marianne here 😉 🌺. - Yes I tend to do all the driving as Chris does all the filming, editing, web design, cooking, accounts and loads of other stuff that I don't like doing ... And I love driving and answering comments / messages ... so although Chris can and does drive (if I need a break) generally we don't travel long distance at the moment for him to jump in and give me a hand - we have been married a long time and work really well together as a team. We are both happy to share the work load and by driving it takes a load of Chris to allow him time to carry the video production load and networking the social media side of TREAD to happen which is hours of work. We went in October the old town is fantastic. Boat tours to the old ww2 bunker and blue caves are definitely worth the money.

Hi guys my door does the same thing.
You just need to push the bottom in with ur thigh. Then lock it and up lock it and it'll work. It happens when the side doors isn't on a even road and it needs pushing back in place.

We went to Montenegro 11 years ago. We spent a week in a rental in Herzig Novi. We toured the Bay of Kotor by boat, and got to visit that beautiful little church. We drive around -- visited Kotor, a monastery up in the mountains, and more. Your vlog is a wonderful memory wake-up.

Ok, so a little piece of info: The hotels and accommodations MUST register you. If they don't it is their problem, not yours. Second, you can register yourself by going to A REGISTRATION OFFICE. There are several of them along the main roads. You need a passport and the address where you are staying. Third, the hotels do the registration online and that is why they need your passport. It costs euro per day I believe, The same thing goes with Greece as well, actually.
Fourth, I am pretty sure you can camp in Montenegro, BUT YOU CAN NOT LIGHT A CAMPFIRE. That is strictly forbidden.

Just a thought with your door lock is there any evidence of marks at the bottom of the handle as they can just slide a screwdriver in and open the lock and enter the van at night for valuables it's very common . Take care and safe travels .
Hi David - no, no marks - we lock all the doors when we are inside (we have an extra locking system from the inside so the doors can't be opened - even if the central locking system is overridden ....) Hi Bill - Marianne here 😉 🌺. - Yes I tend to do all the driving as Chris does all the filming, editing, web design, cooking, accounts and loads of other stuff that I don't like doing ... And I love driving and answering comments / messages ... so although Chris can and does drive (if I need a break) generally we don't travel long distance at the moment for him to jump in and give me a hand - we have been married a long time and work really well together as a team. We are both happy to share the work load and by driving it takes a load of Chris to allow him time to carry the video production load and networking the social media side of TREAD to happen which is hours of work.
