If one day it doesn’t seem like they’ve forgiven you & you have been putting in the time & effort & they still seem miserable then you should leave them. Not because you’re the “better” person, but because you love them too much to see them hurt & unhappy & you realize they can never be happy with you because they can’t forgive you & you love them too much to watch them be miserable despite your trying & there’s no hard feelings because you know you’re who messed up & you’re only leaving them because you can see they’re not going to be happy with you again. Now THAT will make you a great person! Steve, me and my sister need your help. Just a little bit of background I was a victim of child abuse. I have vivid memories of my father beating me as a child. He denies it to this day. My mother is ablivious to the fact that her husband is abusive and continues to deny it happened. When my sister was old enough after my brother was born, she basically came the mom of the house and took on the role of being a mother for him. I started acting out due to the abuse and took it out on my sister. Since I started received psychiatric help and started to tell my story. I found out I had bipolar disorder ptsd and adhd. I to this day regret what I did to my sister when I was little, but now, we are all stuck in a place of abuse, neglect, and torment that I don't know how to leave. I started reaching out for services so I could, but then I got sick. I've been sick for about a year and started receiving care and getting help 4 months ago when I got worse. I'm so lost and I don't know what to do or how to leave and help my siblings while I'm sick. I just found out that my father had tried to hurt my sister the day he threatened to kill himself when she finally got up the courage to defend herself. Me and my sister tried and almost succeeded when we were younger due to all of this. My father to this day makes me look like a horrible person for calling them our on their shit and acting out or trying to defend myself. Now all my family thinks I'm a bitch and won't talk to me. I know and have come to terms that maybe I deserve this. All I'm asking is to get the chance me and my siblings or at least what they deserve in life. I don't believe I deserve to be happy and hope that maybe whatever I have will make my parents finally care. I'm so tired and gave up a long time ago. This is my last shot to see if we can get my sister Emancipated and get my brother into custody with us. Please. I have lost all hope I just want my parents to get the reality check they need. If not for me but my sister and brother. Please I don't know how to break the chain. I know I'm just wishing for a miracle at this point, and I know it might not happen, but I thought I would try. 😞

I have seen some 82 year old men and women who did not look their age when they told me. I thought maybe 60s. Never 80s. So yes it could happen that they do not look like a granny knitting and heavy and stuff. The couple I met was slim and well took care of them selfs.

I think the saying "age is just a number" applies to this couple. It doesn't matter how old they both are, neither of them seem mature enough for a commitment as strong as marriage.
