The unofficial MAME CMI2x for Windows 64-Bit can be downloaded here:

@Sergio Frias Sorry, I forgot to answer your question about my changes to the CMI2x driver. TH-cam user @JOJOZ has already been kind enough to make his Google Drive available so that the necessary files for the MAME CMI2x are finally available to others. Yesterday I copied the individual files into a shared directory:
      drive.google.com/file/d/1EXV-aDo_kUH7re6b2eB3QCIAnb0kQrcU/view?usp=sharing
You can see the changes I have made to the driver in the file "Maximum optimisation.png"...

What is the name of the software used in MAME (the fairlight itself)?, where are those sounds in the factory presets, I have Arturia Fairlight and the factory presets only has a few sounds from Zoolook album. Nice work to show this sample video

The driver for the hardware emulation of the Fairlight CMI in MAME is called "CMI2x". The sounds used in the video are not part of the factory library...

JM was using his own samples I guess

@@J0J0Z of course he used most of their samples, but there are some which are part of the CMI, I tried the arturia CMI and it has various samples included in zoolook

Hello, thank you for your great content, it's just amazing ! I installed Mame V0.261 and I found a CMI2x ROM (version V4:C5,R1:19) but it's not working, the CMI start but the sound is unimplemented and I encountering a read/write issue everytime I want save or create a .IN or RS file for example.
Please can you tell me where I can find the correct version like your revision 20 or the correct ROM ? Thank you, I'm huge CMI IIx lover 🙏

Most people fail to set up the hardware emulation of the CMI IIx in MAME because they lack the necessary background knowledge. I therefore recommend that you visit the "MAME CMI2x User" group on Facebook as an introduction to this topic.
Btw, if the Single-Thread Performance of your CPU reaches less than 3500 MOps/sec in the Passmark test, then no official MAME full build will work properly...

@@B.ART-electroThank you so much for your reply ! I joined the FB group and found (I think) some tuto you gave for a guy. I followed the tuto and the CMI is working well ! I still have a "sound unimplemented" message when I start the CMI but once on the Page R, the sound works good. I can't find how to save my own creation (.IN / .RS) when I leave and start again it's disappear. I know the real CMI need floppy works to save projects etc, how to do that please ? I gonna ask my question into the group :)

Before you waste your time pointlessly, you should first check the performance of your computer. Download the following application:
      www.passmark.com/products/performancetest/
You only need to run the "CPU Single-Threaded" test.
If your CPU achieves less than 3500 MOps/sec. in this test, then none of the official MAME builds will run reasonably well on your computer.
If your CPU achieves more than 2500 MOps/sec, then you can still use the unofficial CMI2x-single driver build from the files section of the "CMI2x USER" group. This is even completely pre-configured (Win/IGP/Realtek chip) and can therefore be started directly by double-clicking.
Nevertheless, you will not be able to avoid dealing with MAME. Start here and now:
      docs.mamedev.org/initialsetup/configuringmame.html

@@B.ART-electro Thank you very much for your help and your time. The result of the CPU test is 3322 . I installed the "CMIP2x" in the group files section with the Rev 20 that you shared. The CMI works very well ! I can fill the Page R and play music without any problems.
Now, I just don't know how to keep my files saved on the floppy. I created "TEST.IN" and "TEST.RS" who both works well, but when I leave the CMI and start again my files has disappeared :( .
I also don't know how can I load a new floppy image to check and add more Patch (.VC) in the Page 2 for my composition)
Thank you very much, I'm very gratful for your help and your time !

...you will not be able to avoid dealing with MAME:
      docs.mamedev.org/usingmame/mamemenus.html?highlight=file+manager
Only the following disk image formats are supported by the MAME CMI2x:
hfe r- - SDCard HxC Floppy Emulator HFE
mfm rw - HxCFloppyEmulator floppy disk
imd r- - IMD disk image [imd]
mfi rw - MAME floppy image [mfi]
