This was his daughters favorite song. That’s why he had the song in the trailers and now, in the credits. I actually felt like crying when I saw the words, for Autumn. It’s sad.
@@Kevmaster2000 It wasn't just played at Autumn's funeral, Allison Crowe, a personal friend of Zack's, performed it live at the funeral. This was of particular focus for me as Allison was born and grew up a 20 minute drive plus a 1 hour and 40 minute ferry trip from where I was born and grew up (a couple of decades apart, though). I had followed Allison's career after attending a coffee house performance she did ~1998 (she was still a teenager) and had gone out of my way to attend a few other performances when she was developing her career until she moved to the opposite end of the country (Pacific coast to Atlantic coast). So when I heard she sang at the funeral, which was emotional to hear, then watching the movie and seeing "For Autumn" then recognizing the piano intro was 'Hallelujah' I got teary but when Allison started singing (and instantly recognizing her voice and remembering she sang it at the funeral), I just self-destructed. I was a mess (I've lost a father and a wife in the last couple of years so I'm rather more emotional these days)... right up until my DVR recording ended...2 minutes before the credits and the song ended!!!! The movie, from start to the end of credits was 4 hours 2 minutes 10 seconds - not just 4 hours. Usually movies end 5 to 10 minutes earlier than advertised on my movie channels (Crave) and never later than advertised. I went from tears to a stream of loud f-bombs directed at my t.v./receiver. Right up until the recording ended short of the credits, it was the most profound and impactful credits I had ever watched (and yes, I appreciate most credits music, insisting on sitting through them at the theatre to listen to the music (if warranted) much to the annoyance of friends and family ). As a side note about the credits: a friend of mine who went to my high school (a year behind me but his sister was in my year) was involved with this movie as the main cameraman and has been in many major blockbuster movies (X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer, Justice League, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Man of Steel, Godzilla (2014), Watchmen, the upcoming Zack Snyder's Army of the Dead, etc (i.e. he's a Zack Snyder go-to for his movies)) and major tv series as the main cameraman (as well as being the second unit director of photography in 'Braveheart'). The side note to the side note, his sister, a friend as well who was in my year in high school is also involved as script supervisor (a hugely important and complicated job) in a multitude of major blockbusters (The Predator, Blade Runner 2049, A Cure for Wellness, Warcraft, The Revenant, Godzilla, Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters, Rise of the Planet of the Apes, Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief, etc) and major tv series - including working together with her brother in 'Godzilla', 'Lake Placid' and 'Mystery, Alaska' They also worked on the same medium budget movie (it had a couple of A- or high B-listed actors) called 'Red Scorpion 2' in 1994 (sequel to the Dolph Lundgren 'Red Scorpion') which, by coincidence, included a classmate of the brother in a major secondary acting roll (another friend of mine who eventually became relatively famous for his multiple daytime soap opera drama rolls (General Hospital (especially), All my Children, Days of Our Lives, Port Charles and was a main character in a #1 rated nighttime action series but it got cancelled after the second season with him leaving after the first season (his character plus one other didn't fit the major change in storyline) and he was replaced by Dennis Rodman (yes, THAT Dennis Rodman) (massive production costs and producer/director/Jerry Bruckheimer battles killed the series)). It was weird 3 people from the same high school (two being siblings) separated by only 1 year were working in the same major movie (Red Scorpion 2) about 15 years after graduating...but then again, nobody cares... lol

I was never a huge fan of live action DC movies, but Snyder's Justice League... to summarize it in a single word: Triumphant. Definitely felt like 4 hours that flew right by, conveyed the entire human emotional spectrum, had great humor, and truly some of the best superhero action on film. The league united felt so earned.
Came back to hear this after finding out Warner Brothers is rebooting Superman and replacing Henry as Kal-El. To me, Christopher Reeves and Henry Cavill have embodied the Superman spirit like no others. Henry was so passionate about playing Superman too, it’s such a shame to see him passed by. Now when I hear this song, I think of Autumn and of Henry’s last stand as the Man of Steel❤️
I saw Zack Snyder's Justice League yesterday, and Zack Snyder's Justice League: Justice Is Gray Edition today. I am not enthusiastic about this cover of Leonard Cohen's song, but it is slowly growing on me. And I respect Snyder's choice.
This, by far, is my favorite rendition of Hallelujah. Though it's already a beautiful, bittersweet song in its original version by Leonard Cohen, this take ups the ante with its tear-inducing piano and Alison's mournful voice. Speaking of this take's piano tune, it actually reminds me of Viva La Vida by Coldplay, which is also a bittersweet song about loss, specifically losing everything after being in a position of great power. This rendition is fit for a film as somber as Snyder's Justice League. #ForAutumn

La puritita verdad
Verdad que sí.
Incluso el pelotudo de los subtítulos le pone "próximamente" -.-

thank you zack
for autumn
I was never a huge fan of live action DC movies, but Snyder's Justice League... to summarize it in a single word:
Triumphant.
Definitely felt like 4 hours that flew right by, conveyed the entire human emotional spectrum, had great humor, and truly some of the best superhero action on film. The league united felt so earned.

I never want to know what it's like to lose a child
For Autumn!
your father made it, the fans made it , Hallelujah !!
Yesterday I saw "Zack Snyder's Justice League". It was an absolute masterpiece.
An incredible movie and I think that Autumn would have been proud of Zack.
I love this so much, Rest in Peace Autumn ❤️
Lloré cuando sonó este tema 😢 #forAutumn

Autumn. Gone but never forgotten
Amen
I saw Zack Snyder's Justice League yesterday, and Zack Snyder's Justice League: Justice Is Gray Edition today.
I am not enthusiastic about this cover of Leonard Cohen's song, but it is slowly growing on me. And I respect Snyder's choice.
The Most emotional part of any superhero movie....for Autumn ❤️.... Respect for Zach Snyder for creating such a masterpiece
#ForAutumn
Esto es hermono, RIP Autumn Snyder.
A moment for the fans who waited and prayed to see this movie but never got the chance.
