Not really. They us a lot of Middle Eastern themes. The drums achieve the battle feel, but the vocal just completely misplaces it. I would never think "greek"; I would always think "middle east" when I hear the vocals go off so loudly. Can you close your eyes at 4:27 and not imagine a movie like Black Hawk Down?

Some of the vocalizations are missing from this soundtrack release 😓 especially from the moments where it really packed an emotional punch in the film.

I think it also has a deeper bass which makes it sound a lot rougher and like you said more brutish, I think it's supposed to be a juxtaposition to how WW actually fights which is elegantly almost but fiercly

It was first heard in BVS in a track called “Is She With You?” Then, Rupert incorporated it into his score for the Wonder Woman film. It was used by Danny Elfman in the Joss Whedon Justice League. Now, it’s just been amped up by Tom for this new Justice League film.

For everyone who wants to know who that woman’s voice is at 2:00 her name is Delaram Kamareh she is a very talented Iranian opera singer who lives in the US ☺️(iam Iranian myself and when I watched the movie her singing style sounded typical Iranian so I started to Google and here we go so beautiful and epic❤️)
It was very powerful the first three times. It didn't become bad afterwards it just became HILARIUS. I think it the voice was too specific. If they went for the beat after 3:30 for wonder woman scenes and kept the lament for emphasis a couple of times it'd be more effective.
