    I had a purple 97 2 door accent in highschool. Learned to drive stick in that car. I've been wanting to buy another one to wrench on and these videos just make me want it more lol

      Do eeettt! good thing is they are so cheap now :) later on down the track i'm going to buy another one for spare parts and rebuild the engine from scratch :) Thanks for watching bud.

      I would, but I literally just bought an 89 prelude si to build, but once I pay off my student loans I'll most likely be buying an old Hyundai. Can't wait for more videos!

    Probably a bit late now but to save all that work you can use a 330cca lithium motorbike battery. Weighs 0.8kg and being so small you can tuck it up next to the left front guard and air box can go next to it.

      Cheers mate :) yeah i didn't mind, had to run a power cable into the cab for a kill switch anyway and wasn't mad about putting a bit of weight in the back away from the engine bay, god knows these things are so nose heavy!

    Surprised that little iron soldered that big cable.

      Ya it did the job. Its got a small tip on it but it's a good iron :)

      Hey bud I had another guy ask about this a while ago, funnily enough I pulled up the cad file for it this arvo and tweaked it but I'd want to test fit the new design on my car before I was happy putting them up for grabs :) shoot me a message on the nugget project Facebook page and as soon as I get them dialed I'll let ya know :)

    Are you going to take sound deadening out, about 6-8 kilos in it.

    • @TheNuggetProject
      @TheNuggetProject  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah i'll most likely do it later, the car has to be a minimum weight to race anyway which after the roll cage they are usually still under and as the sound deadening is low down on the floor it's not a priority right now, but will most likely freeze it off later on and add that weight back on in more precise areas when i get it corner weighted :)

    Safety wire the red key for your cut off switch to the panel. If you don't, at some point you'll wish you had.

    • @TheNuggetProject
      @TheNuggetProject  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I actually take it out if the car is outside at night on the trailer, along with the steering wheel, little bit of extra security :)

      @@TheNuggetProject I saw in a later video that you are required to have an external pull as well which will hold it in place too. I'm supposed to be working but your playlist is great! Watching them all, love it.
