Busy weekend at Fish Trap Lake-Grapevine Campground-Phyliss, Kentucky Overview

- Leo and Heather spend 2 days at Grapevine campground in Phyliss, Kentucky. This campground is close to Historic Pikeville Kentucky and minutes from the cemetery that holds the family of Bad Frank Phillips. Phillips cemetery in Kimper Kentucky.
The campground is hard to get a hold of, the number online is wrong, this is the correct number. 606-835-4564. You cant reserve a site, its first come first serve, pay cash at a pay box. It is monitored by local police. Pretty quiet at night besides cars going to the lake. No wifi, but great cell service. Go on a weekday for best spots.

Love you Leo and Heather. Love all your videos. Beautiful camp spot. I miss my home state of West by God Virginia. I live in Georgia. My wife and I go to my home town of Buckhannon once a year. This year we are hoping to stay for two weeks.

Core of engineers has a good number of hidden gems in Tenn too. That is a real well cared for place. If fishing was better I’d check it out.

If you haven't already done a video at the Breaks Interstate Park, it's worth a visit. They open the dam and have whitewater rafting in October.

Leo ,when i saw you talking about leveling the camper that brought back memories of thoses days . Dad ,had made boards too . Some he nailed together the be thicker to help with the different camping sites . Yall have fun !!!!!
We were just down at Cumberland Gap area and absolutely loved it. We can't wait to get back down there and now it looks like we will be visiting Pike County as well.
