Snowstorm camping in Hatfield McCoy feud country - Matewan West Virginia-Hatfield's Tunnel

- In this video, I camp at Hatfield's Hideout River front cabins campground. This is located at the border of Matewan West Virginia and McCarr Kentucky. It is within minutes of Hatfield and McCoy feud sites. Such as the Hog trail cabin, the 3 McCoy boys execution site, Randall McCoys previous homesite and much more! Owned and operated by a Hatfield descendent Chance Hatfield. I also visit the infamous Hatfield tunnel and make chicken and noodles in my tent!. You can find the campground on facebook or google, I cant share links on this channel yet. Great for trail riders!

Leo as we get older we accumulate better stuff and I love it I got a cabin up in the chattahoochee national forest in North Georgia six miles from the Tennessee border I got bears on my porch up there it’s off grid no utilities come up our mountain I got solar and a big propane tank and rain water catches and an RV 12 vdc water pump too the cabin came with two big antennas I hooked up a smart tv to them and get 80 to 100 channels I’m thinking about one of those Wi-Fi Roku things lol don’t know yet about that!
Leo you gotta use vanilla extract too for snow cream my memaw made it for us when we were little back in the late 60s and 70s she passed away in 1974 or 75 she was a Cherokee Indian too she protected us to the max Ruby Fox Witt was her name she was everything to me 😀

I’m like you buddy a good snow energizes me I do the same thing I camp ride my Honda rancher fourwheel drive fourwheeler and cook great food and to me it tastes so much better when I’m outside in the storm lol I got an off grid cabin now I can’t wait till it snows when I’m up there with the fire place and all and a propane heater if it turns worse I got plenty of gas and water and food there too lol I really enjoyed the video it is awesome Leo !!

Loved this video Leo. I didn't have a Quad but I did have a Articat snowmobile. I went with a group and we use to go hot doggin, and where there was no trail we made one LOL! I'll have to try some snow creme. Around here where I am we have snow pickle. It's crushed ice dill pickle juice with a pickle stuck in it and maple syrup on the side to balance out the sour and sweet. Your like a little kid doing donuts. Keep up the good work.😘👍
Really enjoyed your adventure. But I'm in Florida and I'm freezing. You want to know something that would make that chicken dish over the top ? That s not a big pot so if you really want something delicious add about half a block of cream cheese to the broth before you add the pasta . With those spices it will be out of this world. No I don't have a recipe I'm just an old mountain woman from NC and I just make the recipe up as I go. Of course if you don't or can't eat dairy it might not be for you. Have fun and stay warm.

I got a Honda 2015 rancher with 14 inch Zillas tires it’s got less than 500 hours and 2481 miles on it too it’s been a great 4 wheeler it’s forest green I gotta put tires on the front I gottem just got to get off my butt and do it Leo I keep it at my cabin on the porch chained up but nobody has ever messed with anything up there it’s all locked gates too !

Oh sweet mother of Mary Leo I'm freezing 🥶 just watching this. I no longer live in Syracuse but having lived in the snowiest city in the country & number 3 in the world i don't miss especially when winter can be 5 or 6 mos. long. I do miss it at Christmas for a couple days. 65 is not warm for me. I do enjoy seeing you have fun. Stay warm! ❤

It's a train tunnel, but they used to sneak through with shine. Just like we did with tubes as kids. lol
