I totally agree with you, friend! Just a little spoiler though - I played the game but never got around to reading the book, which is probably why I was a bit disappointed and confused. But then someone mentioned something based on the book and it finally clicked! Despite some flaws, I thought the movie was pretty good. I actually watched it at home on Peacock because I used to have a friend who was really into it. We aren't friends anymore, but I always promised we'd watch something like that together. So I watched it by myself, and it actually helped to heal some of my childhood memories.

And just as you,i also sticked to the theories part of the fandom, i didn’t expect it to be based on the books 😅The fort part totally caught me off guard-it was wholesome honestly.Also,GREAT VIDEO AS ALWAYS AND THE FREDDY DRAWING IS SO GOOD :D

I got to watch it on the 26th!! I literally painted myself a BLUEISH purple and was like that the whole day!! The whole theater blew up so many times, Matpat was the first time and it took everyone a collective minute to process that. I watched it at home the other night, and honestly I really liked it aswell! With the ending with Vanessa in the hospital, I was hoping there would be no love aswell. In my opinion I see it as like something platonic as Micheal cares for Vanessa and hope she'll be ok.

I just watched the movie today!!! I absolutely loved the ending and the phycological horror with it! It actually made me feel like I was THERE. I was so captivated as well, the movie really knows how to keep your eyes on the film THE ENTIRE TIME! Also the beginning music was FIRE 🔥!!! ( Also fuck Ballon Boy)
