Mashallah it's very beautiful rendition one verse of this poetry is not right that it was Ali A. S faith that paved the way to seventh heaven. Overall wonderful qawalli
This is one of the best rendition of Dam Dam Ali I heard for a long time. May Allah bring much deserved success to this group of singers and the Dream Journey. The Dream Journey team are providing a great service to humanity and may Allah bless them and their family. Those who serve humanity are in reality saints for the secret of life is to serve and not be served.
Agreed, this rendition is crazy good for this group that's so young compared to the best years of qawwals. I hope this group continues its rich legacy.
How can I pay my sincere thanks and gratitude to @the dream journey? I am always been indebted to you for bringing gems here. Lots of love and blessings from India. God bless you all for your project. Love and light to all
I really appreciate your hardwork..the way u guys have been putting these beautiful talents on this platform is truly awesome. I want to thank you so much and i really like ur work. Plz do continue the same. These things keep me so much more connected with my Imaan ❣️ All the Love from India 🇮🇳
great composition, was not expecting something different from Nusrat's composition which most qawwals seem to sing this qawwali to. please keep items from this mehfil coming, thank you
I was about to say the same thing, Nusrat ji was not only one of a kind when it comes to singing, but was also an elite master of compositions! Regardless, I do like this version as well!!
Acknowledging the beauty of this poem, let me also point out that its attribution to Shaykh Shams al-Din of Tabriz is doubtful. For one, the historical sources suggest that our Shaykh did not write poetry. In fact, his malfuzat (edited by Muhammad Ali Muwahhad and published as the "Maqalat i Shams") suggest that he might have been a bit indisposed to it. As for the takhallus of "Shams," this was actually used by Mawlana and not by Shams. In truth, Mawlana used "Shams" and "Khamosh" as his takhallus and not "Rumi" (so any poem that uses "Rumi" as its takhallus is actually NOT by Mawlana). So was this poem then written by Mawlana? Unfortunately, the answer here is also no. The most authoritative and authentic version of Mawlana's Divan is the one edited by Badi' al-Zaman Faruzanfar, which is based on the oldest available manuscripts that have been consulted by scholars and academics. This poem cannot be found there either. In short, we do not know who really wrote this poem. It was probably written by some other "Shams" later on and accidentally got attributed to Mawlana and to Shams. In case you are interested in good research sources on Mawlana, you may consider this list I posted here while working on my Thesis: the-inkwell-society.blogspot.com/p/the-definitive-rumi-reading-list.html
Hazrat Abdul Qadir Jilani is the Hasani Hussaini Syed. The Kalam Dam hama dam is a master piece. The Urdu poetry who ever the poet is who mentioned the name Qadir needs to be reviewed, I have no issue with the meaning but you need to give respect when speaking about the sadaat. . This is against the respect of Syed Abdul Qadir Jillani Al Hasani Al Hussaini. " Qadir, Jalal, Qutab, Qalandar, Wali Fakeer, Abdaal Ghous ban gaye Haider k naam say, there is no doubt in this but , Syed Abdul Qadir has also the blood relation with Moula Ali Pak RA.
