I loved Liberty Letters as a kid! They aren't connected or anything, so you can totally read them out of order.
I gasped outloud when I saw Dare😂 If I'm remembering right I don't think the first book takes place in winter the whole time. I think it's just for the first part of the book. I've been trying to get my hands on that series for so long! I can't really find them anywhere except amazon, but I want to get the whole series in one shot, so I've been waiting for the right time to spend the money. I might have to just bite the bullet lol.
The Blades of Acktar series is so good! I highly recommend reading it!
The Liberty Letters books look interesting, particularly Escape on the Underground Railroad.

My friend and I have been having bad book, mm, success, of Thriftbooks lately as well. Either sending the wrong books (twice), or damaged books when they were supposed to be in really good condition.
Ah, I love your videos! They're so much fun :) And make me feel right at home like you've invited us into your world. Love it! As to the books... Protector (Megan Schaulis) and Trust the Stars (Tricia Goyer) were both incredible! I couldn't put them down. Very different books but yeah, amazing. A Game of Hearts (Joanna Barker) was another one I loved. Also, I definitely have to move Cinder Luna up my TBR list now! As to Heart of a Princess, aww! Thank you! I was super worried about writing Alina's story because soooo many people hated her in the first book (me included!) but she's beautiful. Promise :) She just hides her fears behind a mask of indifference. I think you'll really like it :) Happy reading! And thanks again for sharing!

I just ordered Season of My Enemy from Christian Book! They had some of that series on sale so I also picked up Mrs. Witherspoon Goes to War and Escape from Amsterdam. I really enjoyed The Cryptographer's Dilemma and On My Honor so I'm hoping I enjoy these too!

I just finished "A Proper Scandel" which is book one in the Hatch series you picked up, A Proper Charade is book two I think. Just a warning, I gave it 2 stars, because there was a lot of men wanting to accost Grace throughout the story it was like the whole synopsis of the book was Grace is too beautiful so men all go animal on her or around her. Yikes. And her biggest predator was her creepy uncle. It was just a big no.
A Bridge of Gold by Kimberly Woodhouse was entertaining enough. I think I gave it 3.5 stars, it was clean.
I'm not a fan of water either and don't like the cover of the Killing Tide. It wasn't my fave book by Dani Pettrey. I did really enjoy her Chesapeake Valor series. ... I'm also not a fan of Alaska settings and there are so many suspense books set there.

Ooh, I just won 'Protector' in a giveaway and am excited to both try that myself and then also hear your thoughts! And then I've had my eyes on 'Trust the Stars', 'Recorder' and 'Love and Other Great Expectations' for a while now, so I'm very interested to see what you think of those.
I enjoyed Bridge of Gold, and I don't remember much content. But don't hold me to that. 😂😂
Oh, if you don't like water books, just FYI, there's a lot of diving in Bridge of Gold. But, if I remember correctly, it was historical diving (so I found it interesting) and underwater archaeology (also interesting).

Do you have any tips for Alibris with shipping? I fine great deals ,but also end up paying so much it shipping it doubles the amount so I never follow through 🫣
Hi Tabitha! So sorry for the delay in responding to you! I’ve found to only buy books through them that have the free shipping icon by the book. Then when you go to check out they love to give you a good scare that shipping is a ridiculous amount, but if you continue to go through the checkout, it will remove it before you place your order. But, yes! It’s definitely a scare seeing that shipping charge! Elsewise for used books, you can buy books from the same seller and I believe it will discount the total shipping cost, but I’ve only bought new books from there. 💕
