    Context:
    “The Fog” is the first song that tells the story behind a council member. It is from The Chairman’s point of view. The song is about a woman named Nancy who suffered from Alzheimer’s. The Chairman tells us that Nancy was lost in the fog of her own mind and was ready to move on. It shows a more positive and accepting look at death from a woman who was suffering and ready to pass on.

    This must be the mother to the man in the song "One in The Chamber." The man in "One in The Chamber" is the guy who crashed into the father from "Hell in The Headlights". His accidental killing of that man led him to kill himself.
    The soldier in "Brothers in Arms" is one of the sons from the man in "My Life Before my Eyes". The Soldier was also the brother to the man in "The Killing Zone" which makes the father his dad aswell. The man from "The Killing Zone" is somehow related to the guy in "Fading Memories." Either he was getting his friend more drugs to help him with his depression and was killed by the owners, or the guy killed him for stealing from him. I think the first one is more correct though, as the guy mentions being the cause of his friend's death.
    Then there's the one empty seat that was supposed to be filled by the woman in "The Uprise", yet she somehow survives and carries on the soldier's memory as his valiant death inspired her town to fight back against oppression.
    I'm going to just assume that the man who gathered them all is God. Only thing that comes to mind.
    Jesus this is so well written together.

      The guy from Fading memories is the brother of the guy from Brothers in Arms, not the guy from the killing zone.

    • @Pigeon1235
      @Pigeon1235 8 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      The lady from "The Uprise" (Aisha) was saved by the soldier in "Brothers in Arms".

      @RsBanez 8 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      +Joshua mejia No, the guy from "The Killing Zone" is the brother of the guy from "Brothers in Arms".
      His brother died in war and he believes his dad (the old man from "My Life Before My Eyes") prefered his brother, so he is influenced by a friend (the guy from "Fading Memories") to steal stuff from a drug dealer and ends up killed. The guy from FM feels deep remorse and ends up overdosing.

      +Megamarod But how does Jarrod from One in the Chamber connect to BIA, FM, KZ, and MLBME?

    • @RsBanez
      @RsBanez 8 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Riley Bardell He was the son of the old lady in "The Fog", who I believe (might be wrong) was in the same hospital as the old man from MLBME.

    It's one song after another just sends chills through me. Literally.
    No album stacks up to this one to this day. Maybe a future album of your guys' but as of right now nothing comes close to the emotion this album brings.
    You guys have truly out done yourselves.

      +Darren McGarrigle Check out Alesana's The Emptiness album, it's all one story and it's based off of Edgar Allan Poe's poem Annabel Lee. Also check out Ice Nine Kills album Every Trick In The Book, the album isn't following one story but each song is based off of a book, for example Dracula, The Exorcist and Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde.

    I connect to this song on such a deep level because my mom has schizophrenia… Sometimes she doesn’t even recognize who I am. She’s okay with the way her life is, even though from an outside perspective I know she’s miserable. It’s all I can do to just be happy for her, I know one way or another she’ll figure how to handle her life, and I’m rooting for her but there’s nothing I can really do to help her.

    Alzheimer's truly is a terrifying illness, my deepest condolences to all those who are dealing with it whether it be themselves or a loved one with Alzheimer's. The only mercy I suppose is that, in its most advanced stages, the person can no longer remember that they've even forgotten and are (hopefully) blissfully unaware of the memories they've lost. Generally speaking suicide is never the answer, but for terminal diseases such as these I can't help but think assisted euthanasia should be legal. I personally would rather die than lose my mind, my identity. I'd rather die with my memory mostly intact than fade away...

    This song always makes me think of my grandmother and how much of mind broken fuck-up I am for not being able to take care of her. My mother doesn't give a shit. She pretty much has left her to die in a nursing home. But I just couldn't take watching the one I considered my actual mother fade away or I was gonna end up killing myself with how bad my depression was getting...so this shit hits pretty close to home.

    Definitely a band people need to lookout for because they are going far with music like this. If you are trying to make some money I would lose the emo style because it's going more and more out of style every day. Not trying to knock anyone I just really want this band to make it big and make ALOT of music cause this is just oh my god juicy.
