You're wrong. It had independent sponsor but it was very much a HRC bike. With the best crew chief nonetheless.

actually valentino rossi won the championship with an indipendent team in 2001
it's 500cc class, not MotoGP yet. Also the team is fully supported from the crew to the bike, it was a big privilege

@@chuketti no he didn't. His bike was full on HRC just with different sponsor. He had the best crew chief as well.
And yes, Pramac is is an independent team.
Yes, they get slightly better material than the other independent teams but definitely not the same as Factory.

Are 800cc rules a different championship to the 990 or 1000cc years ?
Formula 1 always been F1 despite multiple complete overhaul of rules on multiple occasions throughout the decades.
