I plan on trying to do a side-by-side comparison against A lasko with a Marco motor And one with the recalled PSC motor. I might also see if David can also do a comparison so we can get some more collectors in on this and have more opinions. I will definitely say in the past couple years these laskos have started to get a lot of attention from collectors.
Ahh yes the old Lakewoods, I’ve only ever found one 223 dead, it was probably the worst as far as dust accumulation goes that I’ve ever seen. Other than that every single other one ran.
I compared the recalled PSC motor to my Mcmillan motor and they are very close. Mcmilan has a bit more rpm using the same blade but still very close given the power consumption difference. I think the problem is older generations who are nostalgia blinded and think anything older is better.
Good video on the performance of these box fans I love that start-up sound of them
good video bro good comparison between both box fans featuring kevin i enjoyed the video

3:17 The earlier 18" 5 petal blades also made a swishing sound

I love your video lasko 1991 lasko 37773 box fan
Nice pair of fans.
Ive had respect for lasko for a long time but when I bought my first Lakewood fan it changed pretty quickly
11:02 Especially if they are allowed/forced to run without lubrication.

The 4-Pole PSC Motor will Run Faster than 6-Pole Shaded Pole Motor.
What makes you think it's a 4 pole motor?
