    Your suspension will settle down into a 3inch lift, but would still recommend a diff drop. My dmax needed UCA’s after I lifted it, alignment was cooked and I had really bad tyre wear. Check to see if that could be an issue too

    Any issues with balancing with the steelies? And do you notice the heavier rim with power loss or braking? being a steel rim over alloy

    • @Ozoffroad_
      @Ozoffroad_  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah with the bigger wheels I would say it’s a bit slower to stop but it’s not bad and I guess it is a bit heavier cause it’s a 33 inch now with steel rims. It would be easier to tell if I just swapped from alloy to steel rims. Over all it’s not to bad tho mate nothing I would upgrade breaks and stuff for 🤙🏻

      Depending on what offset your rims are mate. I have 0 offset and yes they rub but only on full lock and it’s not much.

    what tires size?
    Is there any cut to put 35” tires or 34.4 tires

    • @Ozoffroad_
      @Ozoffroad_  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      285/75/16 I don’t know about 35s mate there would be a lot of cutting involved and re gearing if you want 35s to not break stuff and feel good to drive on 🤙🏻

    • @Beyondthebackyard-au
      @Beyondthebackyard-au 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      OK, I was wondering what else I might need. Like if I needed extended brake lines as well and/or the diff drop kit. I did ok up the cape with the 2 inch and 32's but my bash plate copped a flogging.

    • @Ozoffroad_
      @Ozoffroad_  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well if you have the money man I’d go ucas diff drop and break lines. And get adjustable front.
      So that if you ever get pulled up by police you can drop it down back to 2 inch to clear a defect unless your allowed 3 inch where you live

I’ve got a 218 sr5 and the guy at the tyre shop has recommended +15 but you have 0 offset with 305’s and I’m running 285’s so I’m thinking 0 would be the go for me also trying to avoid minimal scrubbing
