The process finished OK, but the bootloader was still closed on mi 12 pro 5G, I did as described and then flashed the ruby stock rom (Global) . Ended up with a flash tool error ( locked bootloader) . Please help
Do you mean mi flash tool. If it is then use 2018 or 2019 software mi flash tool because these are functionality software not new one ❤
so..everything went smoothly as it should but no unlock signal when i press the power button and its still locked in developer options

Sorry, it didnt work for me. Although in CMD it says that the device has been Unlocked, as soon as I turn it back on, It says in dev opts that the device it's still OEM locked. Any fixes ?

I tried it with Xiaomi 13T Pro, but it didn't work for me. I tried to update the mtkclient to latest version(master) but it didn't work either, guess it's not possible for newer phones. Need to wait 168 hours.

So, I tested this out on the Redmi Note 9 (merlin) and it worked amazing! I held the volume up + down and the power button, while conneceting the USB cable. So far so good!

hi, I tried your way, but it doesn't work on my Redmi 9T. The problem is that when I press the volume mute button, the fastboot string is displayed but in this mode the phone does not connect as if to the computer, which probably means that the program cannot connect to the phone. There is still fastbootd mode to which you can access using adb and in this mode there is a connection between the phone and the computer but unfortunately your program does not detect anything. Xiaomi may have blocked the connection in fastboot mode or maybe I did something wrong. Anyway, I'm really sorry it didn't work out :(
i think my phone is dead. it got connected first time and i followed every step when i pluged in the usb it got black screen and won't turn on. i tried going to bootloader and pressing down volume up and down but nothing. the worst part it now it won't recognize on my pc. any help is appriciated.

I've never had this type of error, but now when I try to unlock the bootloader with mtkclient it crashes and I get this message "struct error bump require a buffer of 12 bytes" how can I solve?

It didn't work on my Poco M3. I tried all the button but didn't work. Once I hold volume up, it goes to recovery mode. Thene I hold volume up and down, charging icon is on display. Nothing happen when I hold the three buttons either.

Bro i got a redmi 9i. used your method and after the window closed the device wont power on nor show any signs of life, after 3 days it randomly decided to be back on life after connecting it to charge(bear in mind that the device was 71% charged when unlocking). However the bootloader wasnt unlocked. tried it again today and the same issue persist. used both the up volume and down volume keys...
Edit: using fastboot reboot while pressing the volume down button solved the issue and booted into TWRP (A11 wasn't booting but A10 did)

@@adarsh9189 make sure ur android version is 10 and not 11, then follow the steps in the vedio, when he says to disconnect your usb and press power+volume button there instead of disconnecting your cable hold the volume up key and type "fastboot reboot" on your computer and press enter. Your device will boot to twrp..
I just noticed if the wont power on , instead of waiting for the 3days you had to wait, just open the back casing disconnect the battery connect to force a battery pull and connect it again, the phone will boot up. I guess once the process fails an old fashioned battery pull should fix it. Used it countless times on my Redmi 9A

Ye method use karke poco m4 pro 4g ka bootloader unlock kiya but other country ka (EEA, INDONESIA) fastboot rom flashing me getvar product find str pe stuck hota hai flashing aage badhti hi nahi aur 6/7 minutes ke baad time out ka error aata hai flashing nahi ho rahi hai please help me
