    Thanks guys, great video..
I would like to see more videos on how to do a fpv setup..
What kind of problems you run into and how to solve those..
I find you guys really take the time to properly explain things.

Start with not buying a Yi action sport camera 1080p 16 meg still pics... For $80.... Slammed mine into the ground from about 50 feet and it didn't even turn off... Great camera. I am building a pan/tilt rig for it today, great video.

I actually made a tilt-only version for my quad. The thing works amazingly well aside from vibration due to some dodgy mounting on my part. Excellent build video.

Guys ....love the videos but can you please give some thought to safety
Dremel's are probably the best power tool for RC stuff but ( and this goes for any grinding tool)
always grind/cut so the sparks go away from you
    &
never use a cutting disk for anything other than cutting. Using the side face of a cutting disk is "asking" for it to explode
    &
use safety glasses. They only cost a couple of dollars and your eyesight is priceless !!
    Keep making the vids
    Cheers
    Phil

Many years ago during the car stereo craze, a friend took the motors out of a wrecked cars side mirrors and used them to control some surface mount speakers. This way he could move the speakers around to get the sound he wanted in a competition. I bet you could do the same with the cameras and it will be a lot smoother plus you can probably get them for free.

Great job. I understand the cost factor. That's why I make my gimbals to hang from kites with FPV setups. If you care to see one of them, I have a couple demonstration videos here on youtube showing one of them. Mine are much larger since weight isn't much of a factor hanging it from a 19 foot delta kite. You guys are a lot like me and I sure enjoy your videos. I'm planning on entering the rc FPV hobby and your videos are a real help.
    Thanks for posting.

just a quick suggestion for STOPS strip the cover off a 5 amp connector block ,and saw the brass connector in two..then you have 2 tiny rod stops (undercarriages, gimbels, ect.)

use metal gear servos for tilt. I stripped out some plastic servos making tilts. Any hard landing will break them as the gopro wants to jerk down and the servo tries in vain to stop if from doing so.

Yes, with a little mods this will be my gimbal. Lay down the pan servo to get it to rotate clock wise .Then connect servos to kk2 board.

You could also lower the speed of the servo on the radio, the movement is going to be much better and soft :)

    just an idea...
Wouldn't it be much lighter, in terms of construction weight and servo demand
if you make the servos control a small mirror above the lens of the gopro?
