2. Batch Determination: When a production order is created, the system checks the availability of materials in batches. The system uses the batch determination strategy to identify the appropriate batch to use.
3. Batch Classification: Batches can be classified based on various criteria such as quality, expiry date, and production date. This helps in managing the inventory and ensures that materials are used before they expire.
4. Batch Status Management: The status of a batch can be changed depending on its usability. For example, a batch can be blocked if it fails a quality check.
5. Batch Information: Batch information such as production date, shelf life, and quality data is stored in the system. This information can be used for traceability, recall, and quality control purposes.
