I’ve said it before and I’ll continue to say it some of the best deals can be had sometimes with dealers that have a simple setup and one or no display cases. That second table you went to is great prime example. Most guys would just walk on by. I love looking through miscellaneous boxes of odds and ends. That’s where you can find some great little treasures.
Absolutely and at a larger show, there's a very good chance I would've walked by if I felt time was against me. He had some nice cards though and I had a hunch there were more quality finds in those boxes, luckily the search paid off!
Thank you for the kind words! I'm hoping to show more and more growth as these vlogs continue. Plenty I could say about buying tips. To keep it simple, for larger lots/collections, identify what the best cards are and how much they are worth. If you don't think those cards can make it "worth it", the price is probably too high.
@@TripleCrown24 thanks for the expeditious response... And I will take your advice.... I just purchased a lot for 850$... I have finished comps on 1/3 of the lot and am at 548$. I will do good on the ROI for this lot I feel. I have more questions. I know your busy. Let me know if I can message you my questions.
Kevin Hart full size card 😂. But love that you can share the experience on both sides of the table. Like hearing the different approaches to the various vendors like the collector selling and the salesman looking to get back what they put in plus.
I ended up moving it for $120 shipped earlier this week to a Browns fan. It did draw some positive comments from a few people who saw it, which is what I was hoping for!
you're the guy who used to do PSA submissions for people, no? I haven't heard your voice for a couple years. Did you get out of the hobby for that time and now are getting back in?
I stopped doing the reveal videos for a couple of reasons. Two of the biggest being some people didn't want their cards/what they graded public (I can empathize) and it would add a couple of days to my turnaround times to ship them back. I've still been making content pretty steady for the last number of years.
Be in xenia April 6th I think?
Yes sir, I'll be in my usual spot!
I was the one who sold you the Osaka. Cool to see your video!
Thanks!
You should've hit both those dealers with the "$300 and you get to ride the tea cups" line.
That was so cringe.
@@jmaxiu0204 I thought it was funny, JT is a national treasure
Lol good meme, well played

Nice vlog from the Chillicothe Ohio show JT! Tons of good deals to be had. That Joe Cool Browns autograph was nice. Good eye catcher.

It's a good looking card!
So excited to watch you progress and grow in the hobby/industry. Thank you for the stellar content. Any advice on buying collections/lots?

Love that Once upon a time set. I am curious to see what you sell that Flacco for. I could see that having a wide range of value amongst collectors.

Nice pickups. Those first football auto pickups were really cool, fun cards with the Flacco and Romo. Love Devonta Smith and nice Walker auto
Thanks!
Thanks for sharing!
