Hobby fate is a real thing! So happy that Witt could make its way to Eric with your help. Some really great and seemingly stress-free negotiations on the deals in this one
Big tip for those new to the hobby: when buying raw cards online , if you find one you really like, check the sellers other listings. If it’s a ton of graded cards, buyer beware. Ask yourself, why if this seller grades nearly all of his cards is this one not? If it’s all raw cards it’s a good sign.
Who do you collect? I had the same problem years ago as a player collector. Nobody in my area had Miguel Cabrera cards unless they were inserts from the past couple of years in a dollar box.
I'm in indy and have a heck of a time finding t.j mconnells . I've asked every dealer at every show before I do deals and they all say no I wish or they tell me I have all the t.js in indy 😂. But I still need some for the p.c
That was my thought too that the rest would have to be absolutely perfect for it to not be an 8. Always hard to completely tell without viewing a card yourself.
@@ryanfitzgerald2816 Definitely and not trying to trash it just for the sake of it just being honest. I've seen ultra modern cards get hit with an 8 for egregious centering.
It's as OC as it looks. One thing to keep in mind is that 2022 flagship design is naturally OC to start. That gives me enough confidence that it would be a 9, although an 8 is certainly not out of the realm of possibility.
Love the Bobby Witt card. My radar is ALWAYS up when a dealer is selling a card like that raw.
My radar goes up too in these situations, especially if it appears the dealer does quite a bit of grading.

Thanks! It was very surreal to see that card in person for the first time after discussing it maybe a couple of days before.

Thanks Dustin, hope you're doing well too.
I wonder if "Mike" or "Sally" or "Bill" or "Bob" liked the show? 🤣 I wonder less if they have an agenda.
They are not big fans, can confirm!
Being in MI, I find it very hard to find my baseball PC players since they aren’t Tigers. Nonetheless when I find them at a card show it’s great

Can't tell for sure but the top to bottom on that Witt looks realllly off. Almost to the point where I could see it grading an 8.
