Jen thank you so much for making this video and raising awareness. I'm 2 months sober and wouldn't be able to do it if it weren't for the ex convicts and addicts making TH-cam content to remind me that I am NOT alone in this.

I was curious about prison stuff because of that and I started watching their channels to see what she might be going through. I haven't sent her a letter yet because I don't know what to say and Jess, Christina and now Jen are helping me through what I should say and what I shouldn't mention. Meth psychosis is such a real & scary thing...for the person going through it and/or the people around the person experiencing it. You'd think after going through an episode it would make you quit using it. It made me quit for years and I questioned my sanity for the longest time. It literally took me over 2 years to realize it was the meth and what I thought was happening, really didnt. Certain things triggered me & before I knew it, I thought I was being set up to be killed and chased with a gun. It's not like acid trip hallucinations....everything you "see" during psychosis is no different than reality whenever a person is standing in front of you.. which is terrifying. It just shows how strong the power of addiction is whenever I picked it back up, started shooting it rather than snort & smoking... and it turned my life upside down even more than it did before during the time I experienced meth psychosis. I'm really glad I found your channel♡ it's such a good thing to see other people in recovery who are doing better. Thanks for sharing & I hope you guys have a lovely day😘

He thought the feds were watching, yelled at me not to "say anything, they're listening RIGHT NOW.", & saw cameras on trees that weren't there. It was so scary to watch. I know it’s not directly meth, but even amphetimine can cause some of these symptoms…… especially when you take a little more than what you’re prescribed. I remember back in like 2016-17 I would walk by people, and I would swear I heard them talking shit. I would never act on it or say something, instead I’d argue with myself in my mind, like dude seriously really think about this, those people don’t know you …. They don’t care enough to say what ever. It can turn you into a totally different person. Weight loss ?? Oh yeah. I know one time someone I cared about had basically made fun of me and how I was mentally at the time, saying shit like “ I wanna see how deep your psychosis goes “ just hurtful shit. I didn’t think I was as far gone as they made it seem….. then she started to torment me on fake profiles on social media. I have well over 200 screen shots, and I know it’s pretty much the same person. But when someone I cared about so much treated me like that, it made me the worst I’ve ever been. Constantly running from that pain. Wanting to not wake up some mornings. This person treated it as a joke. I only bring this up cause I see how kind and compassionate this woman is, and I wished someone would have been like that with me. I’ve dealt with people like this and I was never rude or condescending. Sometimes I’d even take them out of the delusional state. Some people are just sick twisted and evil.

Put things we can not control.. into gods hands.. pray pray pray for your friend. That’s all you can do at this point. We are going through the same thing.. we have bent over backwards for someone that has a bad addiction we realize we can’t help them anymore. We’re only helping them get high.. the excuses sick people come up with.. as we all know is a lie. It’s about accepting and helping.. and we put it into gods hands now- so much more peaceful. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Hi Jen! I am currently working on a video for my channel that will be heavily related to mental health and drug abuse. I am a huge fan of you and Jess and was wondering if either of you have any suggestions for programs I can mention to help people struggling. ❣

My fiance/ex finance is extremely intelligent, but had this long term meth addiction and toward the end, he started to get really paranoid, but oddly about the wrong things vs some very real situations that he let go. A mutual friend was the first to pick up on this, and she told me that she's lost a lot of people to drugs, but she thinks it's much harder to lose someone while they're still alive. He did get off of it after a stint in jail and doing it a little more but no one around except me, so these delusions were directed at me. Switched to coke for a couple of weeks, using morphine he'd gotten for me to come down, and physically dependent by the end of that. Got on heroin, my long term one, and after health issues & less than a year, went halfway across the country to get clean at his parents. Eventually linked up with old friends & got back on meth. Shacked up with some girl & hid it from me. I've talked to her a bit, and he already has delusions and stuff. It sucks. It's hard. I guess at least I don't have to see it this time.

Hi Jen. What an extremely scary and helpless situation. Sometimes it seems to me that if people get incarcerated they have to get sober if they don't find drugs in jail that is, and then when they come out maybe they could accept the help that you're trying to give this person. Does it become extremely difficult to separate yourself from these crazy thoughts and say oh it's just the meth talking this is not real. It seemed like you were able to do that when you were using. Being able to understand that the meth is speaking and it's not a reality would be a tremendous help. But I don't know that this individual can do that. Anyways I really don't know what to say. it's very frustrating and it's a debilitating situation for everyone involved. Sending you love and courage and peace of mind as you try to help this individual. Thank you for the video see you next time. Have a good day.

I've had plenty of meth phsycosis. I sat in my room all night staring at my door couldn't move cause I swore my mom was spying on me thru the crack in the door. I would watch to see if I would see anything pass thru the light. I've also seen cops in the woods. I sat in the bathroom one time and I heard my husband at the time talking horrible about me saying he hated me and hated sex with me and he swears even now that we're not together he never said that. I've picked "shards" out of my face. My ex called me at 3 am to have me come get him cause his "friends" were gonna kill him. He was crying cause he swore they poisoned his drink and had a gun and planned to kill him. I eventually had to give up on my ex husband because I tried so hard to get him to quit. He begged me for his daughters birthday money so he could buy meth. I tried so hard but couldn't keep being around him. It's a horrible drug. Looking back I don't even know how I did it. I am so glad I am out of that life and I'll pray for your friend that he gets help and can get clean. ❤️

Man I am so glad I never tried meth. All my friends growing up did, and I could never get over the amount of chemicals that go into making that crap. I knew a guy that damaged his heart from doing meth and it ended up killing him at a young age.
