Brunel's Great Babe. Love this ship. Yes: she was the biggest ship in the world by a LONG, *LONG* WAY when she was completed. Coming in at 692-feet long, 18,915 tons and with a passenger capacity of 4,000, her length wouldn't be surpassed until White Star's second Oceanic was launched in 1899, her size by the Celtic in 1901 and her capacity by the Imperator in 1913. She was designed by the legendary Isambard Kingdom Brunel, a man whom I strive to be like. Originally, she was intended to operate on the England-Australia run, to profit off the gold rush at the time for her owners, the Great Western Steamship Company. Unfortunately, Australia ended up not being worth the hype, and she was switched to the transatlantic run, something she was woefully ill-prepared for. She ended up becoming the butt of ridicule, but she did end up serving a vital role in her career when she helped lay the first transatlantic telegraph cable in 1866. It's a shame her career never materialized the way it was envisioned, and I can only imagine what kind of history the Great Western Line would have had, had they made slightly different, but smarter decisions. I recently visited its sort of sister ship the ss Great Britain its cool to see that the Great Eastern made it into DSS III hopefully ss Great Britain is added at some point.
With how big and detailed the Great Eastern was in real life, the detail and size in game is probably the best that Roblox can handle. (Or that is the best the creators computer can handle.) Either way that is the best the ship will get for a "while". Also keep up the great work on your videos! Then Joe Walker flying the X-15 at 347,800 feet at 3,710-miles per hour in the same year.
