Compulsory Registration for ALL NPOs

It is proposed that ALL NPOs be compelled to register in terms of the NPO Act.

Thanks very much for this video. My challenge, and the challenge of many NPO's is that the DSD website is mostly non-functional for the submission of reports.
I have dozens of emails requesting assistance with submission TO NO AVAIL !

How long can I keep my NPO dormant? I removed one member in 2021 and we only have a signatures on it now and I am now being urged to fix it. Can I stay dormant even with 3 signature directors?

Thanks Ricardo, insightful info. My misgiving is not with the proposed changes per se with the depressing ineptitude of the NPO Directorate in Pretoria. They are incapable of answering a phone, or replying to emails. What do they actually do ??.
