The pass interference that wasn’t called before half time and resulted in an interception in the end zone, the fumble caused by the ground that lead to two quick touchdowns, and the BS targeting call to give Kansas an extra crack at it in OT.

Nothing could have made this Arkansas fan happier, unless it was Arkansas winning in regulation. Pass interference for a defender running over a receiver trying to get that ball? Unless the receiver obviously pushed him, it should have been defensive pass interference. Arkansas wins then, in regulation. Should have anyway. Offensive mismanagement by the coaches at the end of the game, as usual, and not the stoutest of defenses. May have been the worst positioning on the onside kick I have ever seen. Since a hand is not considered down even when it hits the ground, if the ball is moving in his hand, not in complete possession, when the elbow hits the ground, it's a fumble. Personally, if the hand with the ball in it hits the ground, I think it should be down. Rule book says nothing about that. And, it allows the hand without the ball touching the ground, and not be down. So they need to distinguish the difference in rules. I'm not saying you don't make sense, I'm saying the rules as written, don't directly address the subject. My rebuttal..then why is the empty hand touching the ground not a down? That's rules.
My personal opinion. After review, he was down, but not because the rules truly say do. Hand with ball in it, hits ground, should be a tackle.

The ground can not cause a fumble, therefore, that was no fumble.

In no world should that fumble call have ever stood - ground forced the ball out clear as day. But the line on the game was Arkansas by 2.5, so refs gonna do what they have to do...

Kansas went from being ranked to missing a wide open pass at the goal line in the liberty bowl. Jayhawks stay taking L’s.

NGL, that fumble call gave Kansas the comeback. Arkansas should have kept the ball because the ground caused the ball to move. They get that right Arkansas probably scores and Kansas doesn’t come back

That wasn't a fumble and that wasn't targeting.
