Another option for flying with a very young baby is to use a baby carrier in the airport and check a carseat to use when you get to your destination. Carseats are free to check on every airline I've ever flown on and baby weaing keeps them quiet and comforted and keeps your arms free. The only tip I can think of is to use a *serious* baby carrier because you definitely don't want to be fiddling with a Solly or a ring sling when dealing with TSA or surprise diaper blowouts in the airport. Oh, and I LOVE the tip of shipping stuff to your destination so you don't have to pack it. Genius. When flying with babies the less stuff you have to worry about the better!
“There is no influence so powerful as that of a mother” - Sara Josepha Hale. This is you! You are such a great influence to ALL! THANK U for posting this just days before my family and I move 2,000 miles with a 2 yr old & 5 mo old! PRAISE YOU MOMMA! 🫶💘
The slumber pod is a life saver!! We just did our first family trip to Disneyland with our 2 year old who does not do very good sleeping other places but his room at home. I was stressed for the sleeping part but we Set up the slumber pod and he slept all night didn’t even budge!! Literally saved my life lol
I am military and travel constantly. My daughter was born in Germany so at 7mo we flew home to the states, then to Texas and back and road trips constantly because family is on opposite sides of the States. Sticking to a routine is key. She knows it by heart her babysitter forgot a step and she pointed to the sound machine and was like you forgot that 😂 I need to look into that sleep tent that'd be so useful she hates us sleeping in the same room.
One absolutely unnecessary baby item I bought was those baby camera w screens for the car. I can clearly see my kid and exactly what their doing- if eating or drinking I can monitor if they’re making a giant mess (saves me a big cleanup!!), if they’re falling asleep, if they’re hot or cold…or just watch the joy of him watching the world go by. Idk why but I love it. I use a mirror when we travel but it’s not the same. Lol.
We've got a 3.5 y old. He literally did a 10+ hour drive, each way, to visit family in another state, every 3 months, for over 2 years. We did the first one when he was 5 weeks old. And almost every tip you gave we've tried and found helpful! And if I had known about the sleep tents back then I would have absolutely tried that too. On the plus side: he tolerates decently long car rides in his car seat pretty well, even now. The tolerance dropped once he was tall enough we had to face the carseat forward because it was harder for him to prop his head and sleep. But he still does car rides pretty well. On the bad side of things: he HATES being in the car seat if the vehicle isn't actively moving. 😆 We've never flown with him. I'm definitely dreading that day. And I love the casual mention of the nun while you were breastfeeding!!🤣🤣 I love it when anyone makes breastfeeding in public normal.
We traveled internationally with a 4 month old (10 hour flight). My best advice is show up EARLY especially with lap infant. And don't even try long layovers... we had an 8 hour layover and that was a FAIL.
Kidmoto is an airport shuttle service with car seats installed in the car. My husband and I chose this over renting a car and having to install a car seat ourselves. Was super simple to use but is not available in all cities/locations.
My tip when flying internationally (7-8h time difference) was to let her soooo tired and wait for bed time in LOCAL time, it took everything from us: screen time, playing, running, drawing, snacks trying to adjust the schedules... To do it, but the baby waking time the next day was always the same (in LOCAL time, 7am, as at home). Good luck mamas ❤️😂
I’ve heard the slumber pod is a game changer, I’ll have to look into it. Last time we traveled, getting the room dark enough @ like 6ish? lol was the biggest challenge.
I’m planning a trip to visit my mom, nyc to Seattle, for the first time with a 17mo old. I’m so nervous for the flight! My LO is so active and has been so fussy/tantrumy lately. Would you put a 17m old in a car seat on the airplane?
The hatch definitely glitches when you move it. Like at home ours works great but when I take it somewhere else or somewhere without Wi-Fi it doesn’t always work well
I can’t believe she willingly goes in her cot lol my 20 month old hasn’t slept in her cot for like 8 months and before that she woke every hour or more. Co-sleeping saved me but I would like my bed back 😂. Any tips? She’s absolutely loses her mind the second I put her in her cot. Wondering if I should just buy a toddler bed X
We did the taking cara babies course since she was 6 months old - sleep training made her an independent sleeper! Keeping to a routine has helped her too, but there has been a few times she tested her independence and choice not to sleep!
Such a great guide! We love the Slumberpod too. We use our Vava monitor to watch out baby and the temperature in the tent. We've had great luck renting baby gear when traveling to major cities (Baby's Away). Also, our Graco carseat can be used without the base in any car. We don't travel that way every day, but it works.
If someone does not want to invest in a sound machine and you have an Alexa or a Google home you can just say Alexa or Google search my baby and shushing noise as well start. A sound machine did not work but the Google home did with the shushing noise

Can I ask what pack and play / travel crib you use for your 2 year old in the slumber pod??

Girl I get so stressed out traveling with my 1 year old. These were great tips! Thank you
I don’t even travel with my infant but had to watch this because you’re a vibe.
I’ve got a 12-13 hr drive coming up in a week with 20 month old twins 😵💫 not looking forward to it. Thanks for making this video
You are very brave! I hope it goes well and you get some naps in! 💖
I’ve heard the slumber pod is a game changer, I’ll have to look into it. Last time we traveled, getting the room dark enough @ like 6ish? lol was the biggest challenge.
“I was sitting next to a nun but….she didn’t say anything!” Hahaha 😂
We traveled with my son when he was under 6 months but we’re about to go to Carlsbad with a very mobile 9-month-old so thank you for this 🙏🏻
I hope you found it helpful! It can be very different based on age, but I’m sure you’ll have fun 💖
I look forward to Mondays when you post! It makes me happy! Thank you for another great video!😊

Love your videos and that brown set is 🔥 on you girl!
thank you! it's from skims :)
Having stuff shipped to your destination ahead of time is a good idea. What is your daughters name?
This was so helpful. Thanks for sharing all this information. ❤
I just put mine in a suitcase and he has a little sleep in the baggage and a plus if he dos cry he doesn't disturb the other passagers or me yay
The hatch definitely glitches when you move it. Like at home ours works great but when I take it somewhere else or somewhere without Wi-Fi it doesn’t always work well
I’m happy for this video!! Thanks Brittany!
It's really fun watching your videos
thank you!
Homegirl flashed a nun 😂😂
true story lol
Great tips, thanks for sharing!
Where did you get your leopard print full body suit / pj looking thing. It’s amazing!
It’s from free people! :)
Can you share more about sleep training please?
I can’t believe she willingly goes in her cot lol my 20 month old hasn’t slept in her cot for like 8 months and before that she woke every hour or more. Co-sleeping saved me but I would like my bed back 😂. Any tips? She’s absolutely loses her mind the second I put her in her cot. Wondering if I should just buy a toddler bed X

Can you put the babycamera somewhere if u use the tent?
I have heard of people doing this but I haven’t done it!
Yes! There is a clear pocket at the top that you can stick the monitor ☺️ there is also a small space to place a fan to help keep it cool!
I don’t have kids. I never want kids. Yet I still watch these videos 🤣
Haha love that! 💖
Such a great guide! We love the Slumberpod too. We use our Vava monitor to watch out baby and the temperature in the tent.

Another day in the life video!
That’s next Mondays video!! :)
What's the second word on your shirt? I tried to let it go but i can't haha love you
Haha it’s linked in the video description but it just says White Fox - which is the brand!
If someone does not want to invest in a sound machine and you have an Alexa or a Google home you can just say Alexa or Google search my baby and shushing noise as well start. A sound machine did not work but the Google home did with the shushing noise
Your shirt is fire 🔥
What a great video ❤️
Thank you!! 💖
Thank you :)
Im not a mom yet but I love all your videos
You've convinced me to buy the snack spinner lol
I love it!! 💕
Wish you post more... Love your videos.
