@@rubenaraujom Pretty much any nut has recommended torques settings, though hard to know what they are, so I don't know for this one. When am tightening things, i usually just tighten to a point when my hand feels good resistance, this is the analogue way but it has always worked for me.
I have a '96 Corolla DX 1.8 with a 4 speed auto & it was randomly shift itself into neutral when I come to a stop or when I accelerate (sometimes does it on a cold start) but it doesn't do it everytime 🤔 my friend told me to fill it up to see if it'll stop doing it completely but if it continues, I might as well put new fluid in along with a new filter but heard when you put new transmission fluid in, the trans will start to slip cause of no friction
Question the car was parked for a while round 6 month if i put transmission fluid in it an the transmission was dirty could that affect it from changing properly?
There is never any silicone, grease, or other bonding substance on a tranny pan. The numerous bolts, proper gasket alignments, and proper torque are all you need to properly secure it.
great thanks dude, i still have my 97 baby running
When tightening the filter bolts does it take any torque?

Thanks brotha!
Thanks a lot that’s what I’m talking about
Nice video but only if I understand this language.
This video was intended for minions👉🏽😂🤦🏻 can't understand a word. But I'll give the video an A- for effort🤷🏻
How many liters?
Cuantos litros lleva cuanto es 6qt en litros
5.6L
That is not a flush, its a filter change
You are absolutely right. I was just about to make this comment. The torque converter, lines, and cooler are still full of fluid.
Why no silicone?
CLE -CHI not silicone only torque!!!
Thank you
Torque is VERY important. Did the transmission filter come with a gasket?
