    I’ve had the Q2 for about a year now i did change the stroke to a 4mm and I absolutely love it now that being said what is the difference from the Q2 and those is it just the color

    • @ArtSomething
      @ArtSomething  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Glad to hear your enjoying the Q2 with the longer stroke. Yeah im pretty sure its the same machine done in different colors. So if you already have a Q2 there wouldnt really be much need for this one. And if people are in the market for a Q2 you would be just a as well off getting the standard black one, unless you really like the colored versions. For me its just nice to have a Q2 around again, I forgot how much I enjoyed that machine.

    Thank you for the nice video. We all like the q2.
    But what's the point to pay double the price, instead of getting the old one. Only for the collour?

    • @ArtSomething
      @ArtSomething  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It is an extra 40 dollars for the colored versions. Not really sure the color version is really necessary but I think it’s cool that they loved the Q2 enough to give it some options.

  • @AndrueSOCAL

    • @ArtSomething
      @ArtSomething  ปีที่แล้ว

      Honestly I don’t think there was a difference really. Maybe just the colors, prolly best to just get the black one unless you want it in a green or silver color.

      @ArtSomething  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Dang Brett I’m really sorry to hear that . Not sure if this is the same for you as it was for me but when I ordered needles, I only received one box and was quite frustrated the next day before I could send an email asking what happened to the rest of my order the rest of my order showed up that next day. With that said, they didn’t let me know it was coming into orders, so hopefully your other half of your order is on its way. But if not, make sure you reach out to them send them an email or something.

    I have one of the Q2 and it's very nice but I seem to like a slimmer machine personally. I just feel like I have more control with one that is slimmer. 🤷‍♀️ I do use it here and there but I find myself going for one that is slim or I just use less griptape because it is a smoothe hitting machine

    • @ArtSomething
      @ArtSomething  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      That makes a lot of sense also as it is a bit wider of a machine and not everyone likes the same stuff thats for sure. Did you end up finding something that fit you better?

    • @Kayla-enough
      @Kayla-enough 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I have 3 favorites I have like 30 different machines and most are still in the boxes and havent had a chance to use all of them yet sadly but I do have 3 that have been my go to so far one is a CNC black and orange idr what addition but its CNC. I have a RHEIN that I like and I have a few BEVEACE brands that I have used and one of them is lovely. Also a MAST so I guess u could say technically I have 4 go to machines that I use more than others. Just depends on what I'm actually doing and sometimes I'll set several others up and try and get a feel for them but I always end up using at least 2 of my go to ones

    I want to make this very clear....this is a 2607 faulhaber motor but it is not the same as the bishop shader.the winding is different so I'd voltage.just so everyone knows.all three of my q2 s don't work...sitting non working in my box.my shader is still kicking and rip roaring ready to go.no hate just sayin

    • @Dewey_Boondye420
      @Dewey_Boondye420 ปีที่แล้ว

      its the same motor just wound differently.. so i guess theoretically a bishop shader running at 7volts is a q2 running at 9 volts.. only difference is the q2 will likely break faster cause the higher volts. it will perform the same though.. same torque and everything.. the bishop fantom 4.2mm stroke cams actually fit in the q2 giving you a $200 bishop want essentially.. which is a godsend for those of us starving artists out here.
