I just recently found out about Moonstone and fell in love with it purely based on its looks. After watching this video, hearing about its meaning and seeing how even more stunning it is when moving it around, I'm even more in love. I plan to wear silver and Moonstone jewellery when I get married now 😍
Also, hearing that it's the birthstone for June is even better because the man I love was born at the beginning of June 💜💜💜

We have 3 birth stones in June...Pearl, Alexandrite & Moonstone...talk about being spoiled.
+etrnlygr8tful technically we have four. Alexandria comes in two different colors. even though there the same stone they r different colors. I go an Alexandria on my senior ring which I got in today.

"Rainbow moonstone is a type of plagioclase feldspar. The most widely known stone of that group being Labradorite. While rainbow moonstone is closely related to moonstone (remember that feldspar connection), they are technically NOT THE SAME. Rainbow moonstone is essentially translucent labradorite and often has black tourmaline inclusions. Here’s the best part. Although it is actually a variety of labradorite, people in the trade refer to it as rainbow moonstone despite the fact that it is NOT an orthoclase feldspar. Nothing like making the water all muddy for those of us that aren’t experts, right? There you have it. Rainbow moonstone is not in fact moonstone" (dailychain)

I always loved staring at the moon, and found the gemstone itself to be equally as wonderful. Now I can have a mini moon, lol.

Good to know .till today ive collected lot of only gems and minerals.i always used to get attracted to colourful ,different stones From childhood to till now i keept bringing different looking stone to cover pots, flowers,plants .. or into the ponds.. im from nepal not many people know about it or attracted to .peoples think im from other world to see me collected many kinds of stones and herbal plants fruit tress since kid😂
I have so many kinds of moon stone then, rainbow, blue, red, black , golden , green .. other gems bloodstone, milky quartz cryst, rainbow opal , black tourmaline , serpentine , obsidian , gold like square in milky quartz , pink milky quartz , agate , so many kinds of gems i picked till today for my garden and plants other stone i dont even know what it names... all raw uncut and very big big to medium only i've collected 😊 milky pink quartz and moonstone all colours .one stone weights 4 to 13 kg .. .
Hope one day learns to wash it all ,cut and polish too.
Question: If moonstone is either White or rainbow/blueish... Where does the black grey or peach come from or are they even real?
