Although this is not show in the shorter version of this video, there is sand paddocks and fields available for all the horses. I was told the horses do get turned out and also saw it first hand whilst touring the property!

I work at Helgstrand dressage in Denmark and have also been to the stable in Germany, and i really like how the video portraits our barn and the whole experience that comes with buying horses from Helgstrand. I just want to point out that, yes, the horses comes out in the field and get to be horses ;)

I think it's an advantage to have learned a job with horses (like with an apprenticeship or something like that) and I guess that you'll have to already have experience in grooming sporthorses to get there

I really adore and respect you and Jessie. You seem honest and sincere all your endeavors and your treatment and goals for your horses. What I am trying to say is I think you are a positive influence in the horse industry in Europe. I was attracted the true and sincere compassion you have for horse and how this translates to your training and care of your horses. Your horses seem happier it is observable that your horses are drawn to you guys and want be around you and work for you. This is so Golden, this mutual respect between horse and owner. In Helgstrand they are allowed to be horses. They have really Big paddocks, where the horses go out. Just bc they don’t show Them, doesnt Mean they don’t have Them/use them. Think about how Big the place is. They have sooo many things to show, and paddocks isnt really exiting.
@@astahalljsa5882 they keep them in a box. horses aren't made to be kept in boxes, their whole organism is against it. and a few hours on a paddock don't equal a natural, social herd life with a lot of moving around and eating most of the time

I don't understand why you are doing a stable tour with a billionaire who abuses his horses. All these years you have seen that horses have been treated poorly. Fortunately, it is becoming increasingly clear how the high dressage world works. animal abuse. look to the real dressage masters for a good example and don't just think about fame and money.
Its his riders that abuse the horses i ride on the riding School in denmark we lease helgstrands riding hall and other stuff i have never seen a horse been abused and the riders that “abuse” the horses are from spain and spain are known to abuse horses!

You should do a barn tour of Ingrid Klimke or Carl Hesters barns, no one would question if they get to be horses and both are horsemanship goals.
