Hutts I honestly don't understand why you wouldn't take Cracked Infamy.
It takes you out of the room upon getting hit yes, but not in the way that for example Cursed Eye does, where the room resets, but you still have the loses. It Glowing Hourglasses everything. You get the health you lost back when it teleports you out of the room, and you get to redo it. If anything it's a net positive, because you have the potential to redo the room, already knowing the positioning and structure of the room you're about to fight, so you can strategize much better.
But it's your game, so I can't really tell you what to do or not to do of course.

Hutts, the cracked infamy item teleports you out of the room when you take damage, similar to the glowing hourglass, meaning the damage you took is nullified. It lets you the chance have another go to defeat the room without taking damage.

I firmly believe that if isaac wasnt one of the most infinitely replayable roguelikes nobody would fuckin play it, its fuckin vile in concept and its in depth roguelike elements are the only thing that makes it worth playing
Disliking or liking Isaac's concept is subjective. Personally I find the overly grotesque themes and the biblical symbolism along with the similarities between Isaac's fictional life and the real life of a child abused by his parent to be very interesting and worth delving into but I could definitely see why someone wouldn't be into it.
Of course, the great gameplay is what makes the game tho, since obviously most people will start with the gameplay and then learn about the story behind it.
I didnt even notice for some time but you used Hollow Knight OST's as a background theme😍 I love it!

I HAVE A CHALLENGE FOR YOU. you to have gnawed leaf and dark bum, tho you can only pick up 3 hearts from him a floor (its fine you you do it on accident) but can only pick up familiars you start w/ brother Bobby. you have to go and beat Isaac to win the challenge. You can only spawn in familiars for each item/boss room no devil/angel/shop in order of able, ghost, harlequin, rainbow, robo (both in any order), mod, mags, mongo, multidimensional, lil Gish, lil Steven, hush, and demon. If you manage to get thru that you can do what ever you want exempt lil brim and succubus. I’m not sure how challenging this will be (assuming you see this) but i hope you have fun

It's a twin-stick shooter that takes place in what is essentially a child's nightmare, so it's got all these creepy and gross elements while still being cartoonish and silly. I had a really rough childhood so there's a lot there I can relate to. On the surface the game openly hates you for playing it but that only serves to ground you in the experience. It's cathartic to experience that kind of powerlessness again in a safe environment, you know?
(and then you get off the subject, they might be curious but it's a bad idea to trauma-dump on the first date. "I'd rather focus on forming happier memories with you right here and now", you can open up about it later)
the problem you'd run into on dates with your explanation isn't that the subject matter is disturbing, it's that in your explanation you only go over what's visible on the surface. There's aborted fetuses, there's gore, there's children self mutilating. You're not explaining WHY these themes are important to you. Imagine you're on a date with a woman and she tells you she likes football. "What do you like about football?" "well I like it when he catches the ball". That's not very interesting, you'd think that she was shallow. If she said for instance she has a lot of fond memories of watching it with her father. He worked long hours and he was emotionally distant at home, but he would open up whenever the game was on and she would see this side of him she didn't otherwise. It seemed like the only times he smiled were when his home team scored a goal, it was the only thing he felt safe expressing and she learned to share that with him.
That's like a deeper more personal part of her soul that she is sharing with you, it's something about her that you wouldn't expect from the average person. It tells you that she's examined her relationship with herself and come to comfortable conclusions. There's a risk there that you might not resonate with that kind of experience but that's a risk anyone has to take when forming a deep relationship with another person, right? You wouldn't want to be in a relationship with someone who finds your experiences alienating.
