Yes! I realized I had been doing the most with my natural hair back in 2020. I big chopped for the 2nd time during the pandemic, and I've been doing my hair routine in the shower ever since. Definitely has been a game changer with time. As a wash and go girl only...in the shower is the best method for me.
I don’t really style my wash and go in the shower (tried it before and loved the results) however I do love applying my leave in conditioner in the shower. As you rightly said, there’s more moisture and it feels like you’re using less product 😂 I enjoyed watching this video, thanks for sharing Jaheisha!
Between the products and oils that I use on my hair, I find that I have to work the shampoo throughout the length rather than letting it run down from the scalp like some people say. If I don't then, then I would just be conditioning dirty hair.
Yes, I like styling my hair in the shower for wash and goes because you need plenty of water! I apply the products (gels) in dripping wet hair and my style lasts for a solid 7+ days! The downside is the drying time, but who cares when it results in great definition and longevity! 😊 Thanks for sharing your video and I’ll have to try that Mielle custard.
Hi 👋🏾 new subbie here 🤗 Your video inspired me 🥰 I never did my wash and go in the shower 🚿 I definitely have to try it out. I can relate to the hooded drying not drying especially the ends of your hair. Loving your results 🤗💫✨
Okay so I'm finished, lol I always do my wash and gos in the shower Even if I have to get out to deep condition. They just work better in the shower for me. It's something about having the water in the shower that seems to make their products work better.
Super relaxing to watch! Made me want to go wash & condition my hair, lol too bad for me because This time of year is silk press season for me, But I must say I have been missing my wash and gos!!! My straight hair is definitely less maintenance but I'll be back to the curly hair in May. I've heard lots of good things about the TGIN deep conditioner. Actually all the products you're using are BAE. So let me finish the rest of the video, lol
Omg how do you go back and forth without any damage?! I see a lot of people saying they don’t do wash and gos in the winter. I’m low key ready for my next silk press too 😆
@@Jaheisha_ so this is my first time doing a silk press in the fall winter seasons. I have a hair stylist who did my first silk press and it's keeping my hair in good shape so far! I really like my hair long and when I went back she said it grew out a lot since the last time I saw her. I really have been maintaining it myself and she has helped me along the way telling me how to do different techniques etc but I was really scared at first! Now because my hair is really flourishing I'm cool with it. As long as I keep my regular regimen with my wash days and deep condition treatments then I'm good.
Hi , try the just for me curl peace line shampoo. It lathers good and has slip you can detagle your hair with the shampoo. The conditioner is not moisturizing in the line. Im still trying to find one i without destroying my hair.

@kearstenw3855 that’s great! As long as your hair is flourishing. The good thing about straight hair is that it’s easier to see when you need a trim.

Oh wow, I haven’t used Just For Me since I was a kid lol. And I’ve never detangled with a shampoo before 🤯
