Spinning a bearing isn't the only type of bearing failure that can occur. You won't know the real cause until you tear the whole engine down and inspect it. Everything in it is trash now though, you'll never get all the metal shavings out of it.
If you turbo this stock engine then keep it on regular 91 and have your tuner pull 2 more degrees of timing out after you get your peak number. Bet it lasts longer than 250 miles like this one.

My opinion inspect the build engine and if the rods look ok swap piston and rods to the z1 with new bearings,clean the oil pump, timing chains, guides and never send any engine to your builder 😅 .

Dana what I know is that egnine with turbo rev limit is lowered compared to N/A is higher sr20 is 7k and N/A 8.5k

If this is the same Chris built motor you have , few questions is Honda or aftermarket bearings? 2 the clearance of the bearings .
As a person that builds motors I would never rely on oem Honda bearings they are just naturally soft and easily smashed and clearance are never even . For a built motor always line hone for crank for equal and looser on the bearing clearance same goes with the rod bearing clearance . And go with piston manufacture recommend ring gap. While having looser bearings you can run the 20-50 oil weight and make sure oil is at optimal oil temp .. not going to knock vr1 but I haven't had any bad luck with mobil1 20-50

Who built his other motor that blew? I mean it happens, I just know, when I get my cars tuned, I like to have it on a conservative tune. I don’t have money to keep blowing motors lol.

bruh just keep it stock running... Rebuild the turbo motor later.. I have like 1 Oem completely rebuilt fresh B series motor just for that purpose that is covered and wrapped neatly put away.. all my other built race motors is every where in pieces. lol
