After adjusting the one roller to take more weight, I did decide to replace the other roller with the flat sides on it. It makes sense. These roller are just bearings after all, and a bearing should never have a flat side unless it's been sliding and not rolling. I removed the old bearing and it was trashed! I replaced it, and adjusted to make sure both were taking the same load so neither should wear out before the other hopefully.

Perhaps you've confused me with someone else? I didn't build a barndominium. We put up our shop as a metal building and then filled it in, but not our home.
