Omg the editing and the scenes the background music make me want to rewatch this amazing and exciting anime all over again. I wish they would of continued the anime. There is so much more in boxing that can be talked about. It is truly one of my top animes

I learned that the hard way in Muay Thai when I constantly got matched up with guys twice my weight until I realized that I need to have a completely open defense and Dodge more then I block because when you are 140 pounds and getting hit by someone who is like 220 blocking is as useful as a paper umbrella in a taifun
SPOILER ALERT: Ippo retired in boxing after suffering 2 consecutive defeats. He's now a 6 months bald coach. Hah. Don't know if he will go back in boxing.

Mr Bear I like Sendo's confidence and macho personality. He's similar to Takamura but not as naturally gifted and unfortunately he doesn't have an elite trainer like Kamagawa as a coach. If he did, his defence would be way better and he'd be on par with Ippo IMO. If you could capture his childhood in it and his drive to be stronger, that would be awesome!!
