You have a fantastic way of separating and collecting the two different fertilizers. Urine drains to the left and then you scrape the poop to the right. Right now I just have the basic sliding pans under the rabbit cages which I keep filled with Mega Zorb pellets. These sliding pans are requiring a lot of time to clean every day and the cost of the absorbent Mega Zorb pellets is adding up! I like your system. :)
Meat rabbits are not pets. I have rabbits on wire. I check their feet every month and they don't have sore hocks at all. I also place a marble tile in the front of their cage but this is for cooling. Good job on your rabbitry and good video.
Hey Dan I just saw your video and really like your setup as well as the custom tools you made to make your system work. I can see that you have it a lot of thought. I am in the process of getting my cages and place all set for my rabbits and was looking for a way to keep the rabbits waste under control and because of your video, I just found it. With that said, I was wondering how often do you need to take it all apart to wash your setup? Thanks! 🙏 Poppy
I have a very similar set up but I have a gutter on the front and a chute on the back side so I push the poop uphill and it falls down into a bin and the pee flows down and out the front
I like your set up and lots of thought into cleaning...We plan to make rabbits part of our meat source...we will add a small piece of wood in the cage for them to get off the wire...
in my experience the best thing is using Clorox mixing with water for cleaning that prevent any fungus even if it occurs just wash their feets with it and if they got any digestion problems add 1Clorox: to 400water or one cover of mineral water to 1.5 liter of water.
You shouldn't have a wire bottom floor it will hurt their hocks and they can get sore's/wounds and will get infected, atleast put some wood in the cage for them to stand on Also...the cage is far to small!
wire bottoms should not be used for rabbits it makes their feet extremely sore !! those cages are way too small they need way more space and lots of hay every day !! please make these changes otherwise your rabbits will suffer immensely :((
Please don't do that to the rabbits your rabbits will have sore paws if they have a wire bottom cage they will suffer miserably and lots of hay give them unlimited access to hay and they have to run around in a big space like an ex-pen or free roam (indoors) no hutches or anything like that no small space and if can spay and neuter your rabbits and if you can get a litter box that would be greatly appreciated if you do not do these tasks your rabbits are going to die sooner hope this helped 👍 And maybe you could look at rabbit videos to help you understand that this is wrong!!!
Freedom of choice is a wonderful thing. I have been a rabbit breeder for many many years and my rabbits feet look perfectly fine. They seem quite content. They are fed a great diet. They produce good offspring for me, and I take care of them.
@@dearleader5911 hwy these guys raise them for meat not to raise them like kings these rabbits aren't even purebred they are basically mutts that no one wants
Your set-up is what I had in mind but better. Thanks. Don’t pay attention to the uninformed critics.
PERFECTION! Simple and clever solution 👍🏻 Thank you.

Very nice and clean setup. don't pay any mind to people against wire floor as you can't educate everyone.
Amazing! I love the rake tools that you made.
This is cool. Am inspired

Hi. Can you get a piece of vynal flooring or a top of a plastic container so they can get of the metal.
Hello... Can I have rabbit fodder ingredients? I want to make fodder that is full of added ingredients and medicines.
What did you use to cut the corrugated plastic roof panels?
Nice idea ! I like to do this at home .
Awesome
How exactly do you hang those cages up?
Very nice.
Thank you to share it with us.
I recommend to put a peace of flat wood so they can get off the wire
I use a 12x12 piece of ceramic tile, keeps them cooler and nice and smooth, they seem to like it
Thank you sir.
Great job Daniel
good idea. You are so smart.
Nice idia
what an idea 🖒👌

I would not put chickens in the same enclosure with rabbits. Chicken should be separate from all other animals when in closed
Hello sir thanks for informing
what did you use for the little rack?

brilliant
Nice setup . Lengthen your poop exit pipe

Those rabbits are dinner, so they will die sooner instead of later! And if they were spayed you would run out of rabbit dinners!
I shall, never, ever , force my rabbits to live on a gaze, metal wire floor...
Same
