Good topic gents.....
A couple of things to come mind:
[1] The windshield chips I've had/have were due to oncoming traffic (semi's) passing me
[2] As a Jeep Wrangler owner, the design of the windshield (more vertical compared to most other vehicles) makes it more prone to chips/cracks
[3] The State of Florida handles windshield replacement claims a bit differently than other States
