All of the major carriers raised their premuims. I have USAA and as of August 1st, my annual six month premium jumped to $360. That is $720 a year.

Been with State Farm nearly 40 years and just received my new bill which spiked nearly 30% from the last one, with no claims and no change in coverage, when I called to complain one of my agent's employees said the worst part is there's more increases coming and now I know why. I'll bet the CEO and the rest of the board gave themselves a 25-30% raise though. Sad part is how the government agencies that are supposed to regulate insurance companies and protect consumers allowed this to happen.

I was with them since I was 16, had never shopped around. My rate kept going up despite no accidents, an older vehicle, no tickets, no claims (except windshield replacement every few years). I switched and my bill went down substantially. When I cancelled they never even asked why or cared. Good riddance SF

I've been with them for 20+ years and told my agent I was going to call "The General" to see what "he" could offer me!! I also told them to stop hiring actors like "Jake" #1 and #2, Arnold Schwazenegger and Ludacris!!! Hire me or real customers because I feel their "salary" is coming out of our pockets!! I was just offered the "Drive safe and save device" as a last resort!! These rates are rediculous!!! I knew they were going to recoup monies from the "break" us drivers got when covid hit!!! SMH

But the flip side of what you guys are saying is that State Farm must be pretty good at paying claims if they are paying out $1.30 for every $1.00 of revenue. Isn't that a good thing from the customer's viewpoint? Also, why will switching insurance companies solve the problem? If State Farm is getting a lot of claims these days, won't that apply to other insurance companies as well? The companies with lower rates may be bad when it comes to paying claims, which is how they keep their rates low. I want a company that will pay off my claim if I ever have one. I have been covered by State Form for over 12 years, and my auto payments did increase in 2023 by about 22%. I'm not thrilled about that, but it didn't break the bank and I understand why they did it based on your video.
