You should be using wad cutters in that rig. I have 2 pistols that Clark smiths have laid their hands on. One is their Custom build SSR revolver I had built on a new 686 in 2020. Their work is perfect in every way whether it's rimfire builds or race guns.
@@MDpolo if I remember correctly, they operated out of a log cabin. I was just getting into firearms then and did not know the business was so famous. I merely found them in the Shreveport- Bossier City phonebook yellow pages.
Looks like a pure Bullseye Competition pistol, set up for one handed shooting looking for small groups. It does lack multiple distance sights. All the handling doesn't matter if the goal is to fit one discipline. Dabbling in both the precision and dynamic shooting makes for a well rounded shooter imo. For those pistols the potential is only unlocked with the right handloaded ammo. The barrel length isn't that important but the longer sight radius is. Depending on the rules there are models that just extend the front sight and rear sight so the eyes can pick up smaller changes. EDIT: I'm curious about the added rib on the dust cover. Maybe to get a better bedding for the long slide. I don't think it is for resting it on a bag. 14:41...is there something to adjust play?
I have not seen any adjustments. So I don’t think I can answer your question. I’ll try to find an answer and if I do, I’ll post it here. Thank you so much for stopping by!
What's the deal with shooting at 10 yard ? Are not allowed to shot at 25 yards ? It's easier to see the grouping at 25, anyone with any gun can hit the center at 10 yards :-)

Very nice. Congratulations on your firearms. I’ve never seen a revolver worked by them. Thank you for stopping by!
Archie Anderson deserves a mention for Clark's 1911 innovations as a example the four finger sear spring. Richard S.
Piece of art
Classic target grips. Proper. Every gun maker should offer a target grip option. Nice 👍
I agree! Thank you for stopping by.
What a fantastic pistol! Given the extra length and the outstanding grips, it must balance perfectly in the hand. Enjoy it whenever you can. 👍👍

@@MDpolo You're welcome. My pleasure.
I visited Clark Custom Guns in 1994.
Nice! I would have loved to do that when Senior was alive.

Doesn't Hayes Custom draw their lineage from Clark Custom?
Woww❤ how much is the price ??
He definitely would have welded the extra inch, solder wouldn’t hold.
For sure. Thank you for stopping by
