Lmao @ the comments complaining about "center axis relock" or whatever. *EJ* is a hollywood *actor* who was given enough knowledge of this crap to make mo cap look good and believable for a simple gamer, he's not a IRL "super spy guv'ment agent ninja" nor is he in training to become one he's using what little they taught him for a video game to mess around with the host. Blame his trainer if it really really bothers you. And yes Michael is better.
Eric Johnson's only flaw is that he sounds like a 32 year old Sam Fisher and not a 57 year old Sam Fisher but other than that, he was excellent... almost as good as Michael Ironside that I think Eric should've voiced Sam in Splinter Cell, Pandora Tomorrow and Chaos Theory and then gets replaced by Michael Ironside in Double Agent!!
***** nah, I heard ironside and I heard this guy, I honestly prefer him, that may be because I'm not nostalgic from the old Splinter Cell, but I think it was a good casting
You're Pretty Good it's actually the best Splinter Cell game in terms of everything except for the voice as Sam sounds younger than he should be not because of Ironside's absence but because Eric is young so it's almost impossible for him to sound like a 57 year old Sam Fisher!!
its center AXIS relock not action. if you are right handed and shooting CAR system your left eye is aiming, not like for example weaver-stance in which your right eye would be the dominant eye
It has been adopted by a number of military groups and law enforcement agencies. The adoption is slow going but it's effective results are hard to argue with.
After reading the last book i think it would have made sense for Sam to just up and leave and go spend the rest of his days with sarah. at which point the game turns to a new story and new protagonist. Hansen. or even better 3E decided to keep hansens makeshift team in place and theres a game that revolves around a team of splinter cells.
In all likelihood it is not good at any distance. Weaver/Isosceles shooting already has a simple quick stance for contact distance. Stand regular hold firearm in retention position, fire for effect as much as needed. Their are a whole heck of a lot of ex military/mercenary instructors who break down scientifically all gun fights and are trying to rebuild defensive shooting from the ground up. None except paul walker ever advocated using CAR. Do not fool yourself. There is also scores of professional competition shooters who have changed the way the entire world of shooting looking for ways to get ahead at all distances and times. There are entire sponsored leagues and an industry around them. NONE. 0.0% of them fool with CAR. CAR in all likelihood is just going to be Paul Castles camp of followers until it goes away. Sure if you were efficient enough and trained constistently with it you could be good. But the same goes with drunken boxing Kung fu. It doesnt change the fact that the same amount of effort and time in a practical style like Krav Maga wouldnt have been a better investment. In all likelihood CAR is just "Gun-Kata" to be used by Video Games and Movies. Super duper Ninja shooting. Looks cool though. For real modern scientific training consider Magpul's "art of the dynamic Handgun" taught by Travis Haley and Christ Costa. Want to see Travis Haley in real combat? Type in "blackwater sniper" in the search.
***** It sucks at any range, and it makes movement to your weak side dangerous. Also, they make armor side plates, so the only weak places are the gaps. www.ar500armor.com/ar500-armor-side-trauma-plate-6-x-6.html#.VNuJTC7_oyo
But with Isosceles you can also retract your gun to your chest and still shoot normally. Still with isosceles stance with arms retracted you get even more stability as your elbows are tucked. Besides, drawing and holstering your gun from iso stance requires you at one point to retract the gun to this position. The same thing with changing targets without doing sweep. extend, shoot, retract and extend again. At the same time, in cqb if you draw your secondary you get it with only one hand so the fastest way would be shooting from hip if distance is very small, like 2 meters. Can anyone tell me why CAR is effective, viable or just what are its strong points in comparison to isosceles? Cuz what he shows can be done with isosceles (which also gives maximum efficiency for protection if you are wearing armor).
The only time I've found it has any sort of advantage is while seated. Granted, I only read about it without attending any of the formal classes (I couldn't find any near me) but I just ended up with brass in my face and hitting inches away from where I was aiming; which at the range doesn't mean much, but life or death is a game of inches and fractions of a second.
The term is, actually center axis re - lock The man who developed that system is left this world to a better place his name was Paul castle please use the correct name for the system you're using for your game development. It came from years of training and experience.
It's Actually " Center Axis Relock " Eric said "Action" Instead of "Relock" lol, But this is an amazing shooting style! Quite Smooth when popping in and out to targets
L-Z Jo-Z the way you do that is you mark 3 people, go up to one of the people you marked and press X or Y depends on the console you play on. you gotta get up really close though
L-Z Jo-Z but if you only mark two people Sam is just gonna break that guys neck you're holding. do it with 3 enemies and it'll execute people like that
XO'TWOD I wasn't so sure because I tried marking someone I grabbed before and he didn't do it.I'll have to try it a few more times when I play next time. Cheers, everyone.
mark enemies, go up to the closest enemy you've marked and execute once you are very close to him. I've done it a few times already and it's very helpful for combo kills
