You are a genius: you are putting together all the bits and pieces of my two-year trip to the hell of knee pain.
I’m close to crying because with your description everything finally starts to make sense. All the traps, all the mistakes you mention: I’ve done them all 😢
If I should finally recover with your help and your tips I hereby promise to meet you face to face and kiss your feet… or at least your knees…

Thank you!!! I’m starting exercise therapy tomorrow. I used the patellar tendonitis diagnostic video. I have it in my painful knee and the other one, too. Looking forward to healing!

Great video, professor. I was following a program based on the research and recommendations of Cook, Purdam, Malliares, etc. Open chain leg extension isometrics do indeed aggravate my patellar tendon so I wonder why so many researchers recommend it. I will give very low angle closed chain isometrics a shot and see hownit goes.

This is honestly the most informative video I've ever seen related to patellar tendonitis. Hi Doc J. I hope you will notice my comment here. I was diagnose with patellar tendonitis with infrapatellar fat pad impingement. And so my question is, is the infrapatellar fat pad impingement a result of my patellar tendonitis or vice versa? or is it an isolated case? Thank you for answering.

Great video! What cardio training would be "safe" to do while still doing the initial rehabilitation Prolonged Isometric exercises?

A lot of people recomend leg extension isometrics tho. I feel like they work good in my rehab.

In my case it's only painful at the low angles from 20 to 30. Deep squats, even when the hamstring collides with the calves, don't bother me at all. I need extreme open-chain quad extension loading (full stack of weights) 12 reps, and sprints up the stairs and walking down the stairs to rehab it. If I miss a week of training, it hurts again. The more I train the less the pain.
Oh, and resting and icing made me far worse to the point I couldn't walk. My quads can't take any cold nowand I'm wearing thermal pants even in the summer.

Will this programme heal a knee tendon with tendinosis? How long does it take?

Can prolonged ispmetrics be done with elastic bands? Becouse i would do it at home if i can.
And what about suplements? Or food?

    Hello professor,
I'm a recreational bodybuilder currently on phase 2.
Phase three is all energy stored explosive exercises.
My question is: at what stage can I start doing full flexion on leg press/squats?
