You're one of those few people who tell you which size key tool you need, good job. Clear video, thank you.

Thank you for making this! I’ve been freaking out because I can’t move my car to somewhere that would install the battery for me, but after the video I feel like it’s something I can do.

Feels like I'm back in HVAC class. I've never had a car before this and wasn't sure which bolt was to relieve the harness. Thank you for this video as with mentioning and showing the right tools for the job for others who've never messed with electronics like a car battery.

Great and to the point, thanks. I bought an H6 size battery instead of H5, it fit just fine after cutting the end off the felt insulating wraparound. 2017 Forte LX.

Most, if not all, 2018 Kia Fortes use AGM batteries, not the standard flooded type. Although both will work, the cars are designed to work with AGMs, which have slightly different power requirements from the standard flooded type.

Hey man, cool video, you're appreciated. The last few nights this week my car won't start when I get up in the morning, even though it had been running perfectly fine up until a few nights ago. I have a NOCO genius boost+ gb40, battery jump starter, which usually works at times, or rare times if this happens. But the other night my NOCO jump starter ended up getting drained, and I had to close the hood and go charge the jump starter again. Then the second time I tried it 3 hours later, after two or three tries are starting the car I got it started. Not too long ago we had gotten a new alternator and a new battery literally within this year or towards the spring and summer of 2021. I'm going out to get some tools so that I can disconnect the battery to clean the posts and terminals, I'm not sure if that's what it needs, but I'm going to do it just to be safe, and to hopefully help situation.
I don't know what is draining the power from my battery the last few nights, where I'm always double checking and making sure nothing's being left on. My OBD Bluetooth reader said that my electronic power steering had some kind of an issue? Which I learned something new about my car, where I never realized it was a button where you could switch different modes of electronic power steering from normal, comfort mode and sport mode. I tried switching it to comfort mode, to see if maybe there was a problem with one of the modes that might have got bumped or caused this issue, honestly, I'm not very sure? But I am trying to find out the best way to go about cleaning and trying to salvage my AGM battery, so that I can hopefully remedy the problem, where my alternator shouldn't be bad, where it's a new alternator. There's any advice you can give me, it would be appreciated, as I'm trying to learn how to do mechanics and I'm kind of interested in learning it anyways, thanks man 👍🙏😎🚗

You have to do a test to see what draining the battery when the car is off try connect a test light or voltmeter between the the negative battery pole and the negative terminal and pull the fuse to see which one let the test light or voltmeter go dime or low try you tube battery drain test on cars and you will get a better understanding of what am talking about

@@Ernie-Fk8 Thanks asshole. I have an extension but it SEEMS.. from an engineering/logic standpoint that you shouldn't NEED a special tool or extension for something as basic as replacing a battery. But then again asking you to understand logic would be like asking a dog to understand algebra. They just aren't gonna get it.
