    I didnt have a really good visual of a kernel
    So i googled it and there was a picture of a walnut,the kernel is what we eat and the hard shell is around it
    And the funny thing in this case with a walnut is that the kernel looks exactly like brains hahaaa
    Now i have a good visual of a "kernel"
    And maybe this also helps other people!

    Thank you for this. I think learning to balance the inner child with the more wise/adult parts of your ego is so important. I think much of the inner child dialogues out there miss this point, only focusing on accessing the inner child. I think sometimes when the inner child is too much in control, they aren't able to thrive. It really does take both parts.

    The inner child and my ego have joined forces and team up against me please give your opinion on this analogy

    • @WuWeiWisdom
      @WuWeiWisdom  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi,
      Thank you for sharing your analogy. It’s a powerful way to express the inner conflict many of us face. Have you considered they the Inner Child and Ego are one of the same? Understanding and nurturing with compassion can help bring balance with your SHen spirituality. The inner child needs acknowledgment and reassurance, understanding and gentle guidance is the road out.

    david was the ego also being formed when we were children?

    • @WuWeiWisdom
      @WuWeiWisdom  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi Steve,
      Yes, the ego begins to form in childhood as we develop our sense of identity and try to understand the world around us. That's why prefer to call it the Inner Chld. It's shaped by our early experiences, the beliefs we adopt, and how we learn to protect ourselves emotionally. However, it's important to remember that the ego is just a part of us, not our true essence. By recognising this, we can start to work towards a more harmonious balance between our ego and our Shen, or true spirit.
      Kind Regards,
      David

      @@WuWeiWisdomI have a question my wound I have is rejection I used to get bullied and humiliated and 7th grade and been feeling shame. For example when I go out in public I fear those things that happened to me. Like usually when I go thoughts I have are like there gonna laugh at me there gonna think I look funny are those thoughts from my ego or inner child?

  • @Mkp-b3t
    @Mkp-b3t 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

    I have 1 more question so I have a wound of rejection and core beliefs like they think I’m ugly they think I’m funny looking right. say I go out and someone just gives me a look that then reinforces that belief of I look funny or I am ugly. And I get very emotional How can I stop that? Because that just makes the core belief very hard to change.

    • @WuWeiWisdom
      @WuWeiWisdom  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi,
      Thank you for your question. It’s important to remember that those core beliefs are often reflections of past experiences and not truths about who you are. When someone gives you a look that triggers these feelings, it’s usually your mind trying to validate those old beliefs.
      To help shift this, try recognising that the emotions you feel in those moments are coming from within you, not from the other person. When you notice these reactions, gently remind yourself: "This is my belief, not reality." Practice turning your attention inward, asking yourself what your Shen spirit would say to comfort and support you.
      This practice will take time, but with patience, you can begin to loosen the grip of these beliefs. Remember, you have the power to choose what you believe about yourself.

      Hi @user-zx7th7ji9g,
      Thank you for sharing your experience. What you're describing sounds like it stems from the inner child-a part of your mind that is still holding on to the pain of past experiences, like the bullying and humiliation you went through in 7th grade. This inner child tries to protect you from feeling that pain again by creating these fearful thoughts, believing that by keeping you on guard, it can prevent further hurt.
      These thoughts are not a reflection of who you truly are; they are rooted in unresolved issues from the past. The inner child often mistakenly believes that those past events will repeat themselves, which is why it triggers feelings of shame and fear in similar situations, like being out in public.
      The key is to gently reassure your inner child that you are safe now and that you, as an adult, have the strength and wisdom to handle any situation. It’s about re-parenting yourself with compassion, guiding your inner child to see that the past does not define your present or future.
      Take it step-by-step, and be patient with yourself. If you’d like more support, feel free to join our community: facebook.com/groups/wuweiwisdomcommunity/
