Especially Lucario (and his mega to be more accurate but even without mega, it's so strong having only 3 weakness, 2 STAB, 1 immunity, Really good movepool and many resistances.)

I feel like monotype nuzlockes are actually a lot easier because most of the time you're guaranteed a specific Pokemon. Plus, you weed out almost all of the unusable Pokemon that you would encounter in normal nuzlockes.
I'm doing a mono-bug run in Pokemon Y (after beating White 2 and FINALLY Platinum), lots of bug types to catch and pretty good variety, even though Volcarona and Galvantula aren't available.
Your runs are great! I would actually suggest if you do a X/Y nuzlocke again, try it without Mega evolution, because it really does make the game alot easier.
Lucario is absolutely busted, and Deltoideus was DEFINITELY the ace of the run. While our boi Chesnaught will never be forgotten, (Fly high Serratus) we all have to say that Deltoid was kinda the unofficial starter.
I know these take a long time to create. And I also know that a lot of effort goes into creating these videos. But please, if ur ever gonna hardcore nuzlocke a gen 6 game again, don't allow megas. Lucario just made this run a hundred times easier. Which makes it boring to watch.

Flying is a great monotype for Lockes, but you’re right that it’s tougher in Kalos. At least you’ll always have an excellent Sky Battle team!
