Nice restoration! Looks just like the one my father had back in my childhood in that dark mettalic green paint. As I remember way back then, all I saw on the road were that color. It knocked and pinged for a while after you turned off the ignition. A funky quirk of that model car back then.
A fantastic restoration of a beautiful & iconic toy car! It’s such a pleasure to come visit your wonderful channel & see a brilliant, talented, & extremely gifted master restoration artist work his magic on these cool toys!! Two thumbs up
Not bad. Just a suggestion. Take a very small hand drill and drill into the side of the engine block. 4 holes on each side and get some small wire and make spark plug wires. Like restoration Kamasutra channel guy does sometimes.
Awesome A wrecked toy car became a brand new one, I had remerberd a Clint Stewood 's movie ,which one a green torrino were there . Indeed what beautifull toy and green it's one of my favourite colours
Anyone else notice how perfect the screws were compared to the "dirt and rust" on the rest of the car Clever weathering job....THAT would have been more entertaining to watch than a fake restoration.......js
Hi what an awesome job you do with all the things you restore .and by the way were do you find these amazing cars and trucks i would love to get my hands on some can you help.👍
I'm just wondering how long did it take you to make the car look rusted. We both know that it's made out of diecast aluminum and aluminum don't rust. It looks like you spent a lot of time on the rustic look. 🤔🤠👍🇺🇲
Great job but enough with the corrosion and rust it cannot rust!! is a zink alloy . Like there is graveyard for old die cast cars. Lose the coffee and dirt
The 2008 film "Gran Torino" stars Clint Eastwood as the grisly retired war vet, Walt Kowalski. Ole' Walt didn't like very many people, but he sure loved his mint condition, dark green, 1972 Gran Torino. Copy and Paste from Google
If this car was sitting anywhere there is moisture or even dust, when you were taking it apart the inside would have been dusty or just plain filthy and the plastic would have looked way worse than it did. Fake video and if nobody else sees this than their just blind.

These cars are incredibly detailed, right down to the safety glass! Amazing job!
They are made by ERTL. These old school models have a ton of detail.

He buys them from the store, makes them look old, then repaints them
I live in England Lincolnshire. 👍
If only the real ones were that easy
Just curious, how many cars did you completely screw up before getting to that skill level with that sprayer?
If you just would've cleaned that patina up just a little on body and rims.........new every thing else ... would've been Killa💥💥💥

How did he replace the glass?
He had removed the original one before installing the "broken" one.
What did you use for chrome look around windshield?
Tops
Man where do you find those cars like that?
Eu compraria essa miniatura do Torino GT 1970 pelo menos vinte e cinco reais em dinheiro 💶💶💶 restaraudo

I like how you weather them before you redo them 👍

That looks like there is some culler shift in the paint I could be wrong it might be just a reflection.
but i like his idea he does everything perffect
👍😄
How did you do the windows?
Funny how this paint looks just like the paint on the Dodge ram truck I just watched 🤔
So where did you get the glass?
Very good

He never said it was abandoned in a dusty or moist place.
Nice work both before and after...
